Lynn have now gone eight games without a win making the fine 4-0 victory over high flying Chippenham Town a distant memory.
Lynn gave a debut to on-loan signing Sam Warburton and welcomed back from injury their other loanee Shaun McWilliams who took a place on the bench.
Lynn were given a warning of what was to come when first Lucas Kirkpatrick saw his long range shot turned away by Alex Street and then Ben Walster's free kick was repelled at the expense of the corner but Street was given no chance on seven minutes when Walster fired home from some 25 yards.
Robbie Burns was then on hand to pick up a deflected ball and his effort produced a stunning save from Street.
Lynn's first effort came from Warburton on 26 minutes but he fired wide but Lynn did come more into the game with a number of corners the best of which saw Sam Gaughran head wide.
Lynn, with two half-time substitutions, started the second half brightly and had claims for a penalty turned down after Leon Mettam was upended.
Their good work was undone on 58 minutes when Dan Quigley passed the ball back to Street but the ball had too much pace and the Lynn keeper failed to control it, or at least didn't realise Matt Lench was running forward and nipped in to score.
Lynn were given a lifeline on 71 minutes when Mettam was grounded by Canaries' keeper Michael Johnson who was booked. Michael Clunan dispatched the penalty.
Minutes later the scores could have been level when Lee Stevenson's free kick looked bound for the net but hit Jacek Zielonka who was two yards from the line.
Further chances fell to Lynn with Stevenson blasting wide from an acute angle and missing again with seconds remaining.
