Rugby United 2 Lynn 0
It was the turn of Mr Hyde to put in an appearance in Lynn's Jekyll and Hyde
season and with a seven point gap between leaders Chippenham and Lynn already
there can be little room for errors in the coming weeks.
Lynn included Lee Stevenson in the starting line-up, a welcome bonus after
Saturday's injury scare and he almost got on the scoresheet in the second minute
as Lynn started as they had finished on Saturday - going for goals. Three good chances
later and it was all over. Ten minutes had gone, Lynn had not scored and
just seemed to run out of ideas.
Rugby began to look dangerous with veteran Robbie Beard forcing Wilson into a
good save on 15 minutes. For a while it was stalemate but then on 37
minutes Burrows was adjudged to have fouled and Justin Marsden
scored from the spot.
Rugby know how to defend - and Lynn had no idea how to attack - far too often
the would get into the Rugby half onto to backpass into the Lynn half as they
sort to look for an opening - but it never came.
The second half was much like the majority of the first with Lynn lacking ideas.
When Robbie Beard broke down the Lynn left to double the Rugby lead
on 58 minutes it was clear it was all over - Lynn weren't going to score one yet
alone three.
The introduction of Robbie Harris for Stevenson added a little in terms of
pressure and urgency and resulted in a few goal mouth scrambles. Lynn had one Harris effort that hit the bar and bounced down onto the line and in the final
minute Danny Bloomfield broke through for a one on one with the Rugby 'keeper
but was denied even a consolation - it was never going to be Lynn's day.
It will be interesting to see which team will turn out on Saturday whilst the
return of Jack Defty from injury cannot come soon enough.

Stevenson (Harris), Battersby, Bloomfield, Angel.

Lynn 5 Chesham United 1
First half injuries to Danny Hammond, Lee Stevenson and Gary Setchell - the
latter two likely to be out for anything up to four weeks, and the sending off
of 'keeper Stevie Wilson took the edge of an excellent Linnets display which
ended Chesham's unbeaten run which stretched back to last March.
There were early indications of what was to come in the opening minute when
referee Mr Jones declined to give Lynn a free kick - assumingly judging that a
Chesham defender didn't so much pass the back but just trapped it for Hughes in
the Chesham goal to pick up.
Lynn went in front after four minutes when Bloomfield on the Lynn left worked
his way into the box and then put the ball back to Battersby to whack
home.
Lynn continued to look dangerous with Bloomfield going close whilst Hughes also
had to save from his own defender.
Injury to Setchell forced Lynn to bring on Hammond on 18 minutes but Lynn
continued to press with Camm going close.
A Holmes header hit the upright on the half hour and then Stevenson shot
straight at the keeper.
A sleepy Lynn defence allowed Chesham to level on 35 minutes when Lawford
sidefooted home but Lynn immediately replied with a header from Holmes in
the next minute.
Lynn then lost substitute Hammond to injury and a few minutes later Stevenson.
Despite the enforced changes Lynn continued to press forward with Robbie Harris'
pace on the right, and Angel's on the left causing the Chesham defence
problems.
It was a freekick on the Lynn left which resulted in the third goal. on 56
minutes he found Fishlock who passed across field to Camm and his cross was met
by the head of Battersby.
Keeper Hughes continued to keep the score respectable for Chesham by saving from
Harris but on the hour an Angel cross was headed home by Holmes on 62
minutes.
On 71 minutes a quick break saw Bloomfield through on goal but Hughes cleared -
his kick unfortunately finding the inrushing Hole and the
rebound went into the empty net.
Chesham's Boden-Hasse forced the ball the the Lynn keeper into the net and the
resulting handbagging saw both players sent off, with Daryl Sutch taking
the keeper's jersey.
Lynn: Wilson, Camm, Sutch, Burrows, Setchell, Fishlock, Holmes, Stevenson, Battersby, Bloomfield, Angel. Subs: Jones, Hammond, Harris, Bacon, Osbourne
Chesham: Hughes, Sweeny, Hole, Hall, Clifford, Bowden-Hasse, Yates, Adebowale, Sippetts, Lawford, Herron. Subs: Davies, Richardson, Fotheringham, Sinclaire,
Jackson

Lynn 1 Hitchin Town 2
This was by no means a good performance from Lynn who were a shadow of the team
that defeated Bedford last Tuesday. There was however, little evidence of what
was to come as Lynn started brightly and Bloomfield and Camm both went close in
the opening minutes whilst the visitors also produced chances of their own -
mostly down the Lynn right. Sozzo puuting the ball wide after six minutes.
It was however Lynn who took the lead.
On 14 minutes Battersby fed Holmes who in turn found Bloomfield in space who
fended of the attentions of a defender to put Lynn into the lead.
Then it all went wrong - it was as if Lynn had decided that having taken the
lead the remainder of the game would be a formality.
They were wrong - and Lynn's play degenerated for the rest of the game. Twice
Camm was called upon to clear the defensive lines and then Wilson came out of
his area to head away as Lynn's defence looked far from happy.
Hitchin equalised on 38 minutes - by that time Lynn seemed to have allowed their
concentration to lapse and some late decisions from the assistant referee, and
the debatable
judgements of the referee to unsettle them. It was one such incident that lead
to the equaliser - Mark Angel clashed with Gavin Jaggard who was on the
ground (and whose performance many Lynn fans felt worthy of a BAFTA). Lynn
seemed to wait to see if the referee would stop play to allow Jaggard treatment which allowed Mark Bridge
in to score.
The second half seemed to be no better - Lynn's midfield lacked any bite but
this was not a problem as the ball was often bypassing them - Lynn
employing a long ball tactic which - although successful in the opening 20
minutes of the first half - had now lost its effect.
Jaggard put Hitchin further ahead on 51 minutes and scored again only to have
the effort disallowed for a foul on Wilson - the referee first awarding the goal
and then changing his mind.
Lynn introduced Stevenson with Camm dropping back to replace the substituted
Jones. This produced one of the few chances of the second half but the ball
never ran kindly and it was never going to be their day.
Hopefully they will be able to recover some of their wounded pride and lost confidence
when they take on bottom club Dunstable on Tuesday.

Lynn 2 Bedford 0
There can be few complaints with the entertainment value in this match. There
was energy, there was skill, and there was commitment. Lynn could have
taken the lead in the first minute when Danny Bloomfield found himself one-on-one with
the keeper but was denied. Tony Battersby then forced a good save before it was Bedford's turn when they were awarded a penalty for a Jones trip but the weak effort from Rydeheard was saved by Wilson.
That set the pattern for the first with plenty of end to end stuff and Lynn just
about shading it with a number of corners and free kicks in the Bedford third but
good defending denied them any clear cut chances.
The second half started in the same manner as the first with Bloomfield once again
missing out when through and only the keeper to beat.
The deadlock was broken on 54 minutes with another penalty. This time it was to
Lynn following a push and Tony Battersby blasted home giving the keeper no chance. A few minutes
later Battersby was booked for not retreating at a free kick and then had a
header well saved by the visiting keeper.
Bedford then possibly had their best spell but although they have two quick
forwards their best chances - two crosses whipped in from the Lynn right - went
harmlessly across goal.
Lynn completed the scoring on 74 minutes when Carl Holmes powered home a
magnificent header from the corner.
In the final minutes Bedford had their best shot of the game from Dillon but this was
narrowly over.
A great performance against useful opposition who looked solid at the back but
perhaps need something extra in attack, but then again they had three players suspended!
Another clean sheet and a good attendance - despite it being the holiday
period - roll on Saturday!
Lynn: Wilson, Jones, Setchell, Burrows, Hammond, Sutch, Camm, Holmes (Fishlock 88), Battersby, Bloomfield (Harris 88), Angel (Stevenson 84). Subs not used: Osbourne, Blake.

Team Bath 0 Lynn 5
After a two year break, Lynn returned to Premier Division football in fine
style.
Lynn were without Jack Defty but otherwise had a full squad available and the starting line-up showed no place for Lee Stevenson - such is the competition for places this season.
The Lynn fans, who appear to outnumber the home support, had only five minutes to wait before Danny Bloomfield got his name on the
scoresheet.
When Danny Bloomfield slammed home in the fifth minute after a long
clearance out of defence eluded his marker leaving him clear on goal.
On nineteen minutes it was Bloomfield again - Battersby finding him in plenty of space to score from close range.
Lynn began to dominate and Bloomfield completed his hat-trick on 53 minutes - once again Battersby being the provider.
Lynn took advantage of their lead to use their substitutes and it was these who scored the remianing goals -
On 85 minute Hammond's free kick found Stevenson who hit home via the keeper's
leg and three minutes later Battersby cleverly chipped over the
home defenders for Harris to fire home with ease.
Booking for Lynn: Setchell. Attendance 132.
Lynn: Wilson, Jones, Setchell, Burrows, Hammond, Sutch, Camm, Holmes (Fishlock),
Battersby,
Bloomfield (Harris), Angel (Stevenson). Subs (not used): Blake, Osbourne
Lynn Reserves completed their pre-season with a 1-0 victory over Swaffham
Town at Shoemakers Lane. There was little between the teams but on 20 minutes
ex-Linnet Lee Nichol brought down Simon Bush and Tom Doughty scored from the
box.
Lynn have lost out in their bid to sign Ben Chapman. The player has agreed a one year deal with Alfreton Town.

Lynn embark on a new league campaign attempting their second title in as many seasons. With just one automatic promotion spot available Lynn will want to aim for that rather than the potential disappointment of the play-offs which they endured last season.
It is no secret that the club start the new season over budget and are still looking to add to their squad - the target being Ben Chapman who was with Boston United last season. The twenty five year old, Scunthorpe born, Chapman made 74 league appearances for Boston United in a two year spell. Prior to that he was a trainee at Grimsby for whom he made 21 league appearances.
Impressing in two friendly games it is hoped that the funding can be found to get the player on an initial three month spell.

Lynn have completed the signing on Daryl Sutch. Last season Sutch made seven starts for Boston United plus two appearances as substitute. Prior to joining Boston Sutch was with Southend United for who he made sixteen appearances during the first five months of 2003, scoring one goal. It is, however, Norwich City with whom Sutch is best remembered making 349 appearances, scoring nine goals, between July 1990 and January 2003.

Lynn 4 Dulwich Hamlet 0
Four first half goals gave Lynn victory in their final run out before the start
of the season.
It was, however, the visitors who went closest in the opening minutes, striking
the upright whilst Wilson looked more accident prone than usual in the Lynn
goal.
Lynn took the lead on 13 minutes when Danny Bloomfield steered the ball home and
a minute later Mark Angel thumped home from the corner of the penalty area
after being teed up by Tony Battersby.
On 21 minutes Carl Holmes headed home from a free kick - his first goal since
6th March.
Danny Bloomfield added the fourth on 37 minutes with the Battersby/Bloomfield
partnership looking particularly effective.
The second half was a quiet affair by comparison with the heat and substitutions
taking the toll on the quality of play. A needless foul by Danny Hammond
resulted in an exchange on handbags as the game petered out.
Lynn: Wilson, Jones, Chapman, Burrows, Setchell, Sutch, Camm, Holmes, Battersby,
Bloomfield, Angel. Used Subs: Hammond, Harris, Heath-Preston, Stevenson, Fishlock,
Blake, Osbourne

On Friday night Lynn Reserves continued their unbeaten pre-season with another claens sheet in a 3-0 win at Blofield United.

St Neots 1 Lynn 2 - Angel signs
The long awaited debut of Daryl Sutch and the signing of 28 year old left winger Mark Angel on a 12 month contract rounded off a 2-1 friendly win against St
Neots.
An early goal by Danny Bloomfield put Lynn in front but despite having the bulk of the play the scores were equal on the half hour and it was not until late in the game that a Stevenson 20 yarder from a free kick gave Lynn victory.
In addition to Sutch, Lynn also gave a run out to Ben Chapman at left back from Boston United.
Twenty five year old, Scunthorpe born, Chapman made 74 league appearances for Boston United in a two year spell. Prior to that he was a trainee at Grimsby for whom he made 21 league appearances.
Not joining Lynn is Dene Cropper who has gone to Worksop.
Lynn: Wilson,
Camm, Chapman, Burrows, Setchell, Sutch, Holmes, Stevenson, Battersby,
Bloomfield, Angel. Subs all used, Bacon, Jones, Blake, Harris and
Hammond.

Cambridge City 2 Lynn 1
Of all the pre-season friendlies this was probably the one that Lynn fans wanted most to win. It was, however, not one of Lynn's best performances, particularly in defence, and with injuries to Lee Stevenson and Jack Defty it was definitely not Lynn's day.
It all started well enough with ex-Linnet Duncan Roberts producing a finger-tip save in the opening minutes. City were dangerous on the break with a number of crosses coming in from the Lynn left and it seemed just a matter of time before one of them produced a goal - and it duly arrived in the 31st minute when Wilson blocked the initial effort but the ball fell kindly to Miller who made no mistake.
City's second came nine minutes later when Hammond, who had an uncharacteristically poor game, was dispossessed and the resultant cross was forced home by Gash.
Stevenson incurred the wrath of the official and in a real game might have picked up two yellows - and in some friendlies he might have been substituted as a result but he stayed on only to leave the field injured shortly afterwards.
Jack Defty then collided with ex-Linnet Shane Huke and after lengthy treatment was stretchered off.
Both teams still had their chances but with the heat, injuries and substitutions the highlight became the PA system which began picking up part of the speeches from a wedding.
The introduction of Chris Bacon livened up the attack and it was one of his runs that resulted in Lynn's goal six minutes from time. Battersby making no mistake from the penalty spot after Bacon was adjudged to have been fouled by City substitute keeper Calton.
Lynn: Wilson (Osbourne 64), Camm, Setchell, Burrows (Foley 45), Hammond, Stevenson (Jones 56), Holmes, Fishlock (Defty 45 (Blake 68)), Battersby, Cropper (Bloomfield 45), Angel (Bacon 78)

Lynn 0 Boston United 0
A crowd of 742 saw Lynn begin their pre-season program with a goalless draw against Boston United.
It was a fair result although it was the visiting keeper that was required to
perform the more acrobatic saves particularly in the second half when he denied
Robbie Harris twice - the second a superb diving save after Tony Battersby had
linked up with Chris Bacon. Mark Camm, Daniel Hammond, Lee Stevenson and Jack
Defty all caught the eye whilst Tony Battersby's height looks likely to give
Lynn a dimension they never had up front last season. With Mark Angel and Daryl
Sutch watching in the stands the signs look good although there is a long way to
go and a good start to the competitive season is essential.
Lynn starting -: Wilson, Camm, Setchell, Burrows, Hammond, Holmes, J Defty, Fishlock, Battersby, Bloomfield, Stevenson.
Subs: Jones, Blake, Bacon, Harris, C Defty, Osborne.
Boston starting: Abbey, Beavers, Strong, Melton, Greaves, Ellander, Bernard, Thomas, Lee, Staff, Holland. Subs: Thompson, Noble, Rusk, McCann, O'Halloran, Raynor, Norris.

Lynn have not had much luck in the FA Cup and Trophy draws this season, being drawn away in both competitions.
In the FA Cup Lynn will travel to the winners of the Great Wakering Rovers/Maldon Town tie on September 18 - the winners getting £2,250.
The FA Trophy draw sees Lynn travelling to Gloucester City on Saturday 6 November, the winners picking up £1,800.
Lynn Youth have had similar luck in the FA Youth Cup being drawn away to Godmanchester Rovers, the First Qualifying Round tie to be played at the end of September.
Meanwhile Charlie Defty will not be available for selection after September as he has opted to take a year off to travel the world.
Defty, younger brother of popular midfielder Jack, impressed in the first team towards the end of last season when injuries and suspension took their toll on the Lynn
defence.
"It's a shame to lose him because he's such an honest lad," said joint manager Kevin Boon.
"He is a credit to King's Lynn Football Club and the door is always open for him.
"He will have a year away but when he comes back he knows there will be a place for him here if he wants it. He's only 20 years old so we'll be looking out for him."

Lynn have been boosted by the news of improved sponsorship deals from both the Lynn News and Double G Clothing.
This will be the fourth season that the Lynn News has been the main sponsor of the Linnets who will also be sponsoring Jack Defty in the coming season.
Double G Clothing will be sponsoring Lynn Reserves for the second season - although their involvement with the club goes back some seven years. Double G Clothing is a clothing wholesaler/distributor predominantly covering the East of England supplying Downham and AFC Sudbury as well as Lynn.
In the Ridgeons League Cup Lynn Reserves have been drawn away to Dereham in the First Round of the competition.
Former Lynn striker Lee Hudson has moved from Spalding United to Holbeach United whilst the Tulips hope to replace him with another former Linnet - Lee Stephenson.
|
| 15 June 2004 | |
Lynn have signed Aaron Osborne. The Cromer born nineteen year old (b. 22.12.84) keeper became an
Norwich City Academy Scholar at Carrow Road in 2001 and played for the reserves in the 2002-03 season.
At the end of November 2003, Norwich announced that they would not be giving
Aaron a professional contract and he had trails at Oxford United and then Bristol Rovers.
Signed for Great Yarmouth in December 2003.
|
| 10 June 2004 | |
Lynn have released long serving player and club captain Glen Fuff.
The club offered Fuff a 12 month contract but the player wanted a two year deal.
When this wasn't forthcoming he relented and said he would accept a one year contract - but the offer was withdrawn and the player was released.
The club will press ahead with plans for a testimonial match for Glen to pay tribute to his 293 games he has played for the club since being signed by Tony Spearing in the summer of 1998.
Richard Woodrow is also leaving. A fringe first team player for most of last season, he is off to university and has signed for Lowestoft Town.
|
| 7 June 2004 | |
Lynn have appointed former Manchester City and Wolves striker Robert Taylor as reserve team coach. Born in Norwich, Taylor was signed at the age of 16 for Norwich City having been spotted playing for Watton United. He never made a first team appearance for the Canaries but had more success at Leyton Orient - initially on loan and then, after an unsuccessful spell at Birmingham, in a permanent move.
Further moves to Brentford and then Gillingham followed and then Manchester City in November 1999 for £1.5 million. A move to Wolves in August 2000 followed and then loan spells to QPR, Gillingham and Grimsby followed - with a transfer to the Mariners on a non-contract basis in the spring of 2002.
Further trials and loans followed before Robert decided he had had enough of injuries and he retired from the professional game and returned "home" to manage Watton United in September 2003 where he guided them to top place in the Anglian Combination Division One.
|
| 4 June 2004 | |
Lynn have signed nineteen year old (b. 08/04/85) Daniel Hammond on a two year contract. Hammond - who started in Sunday League football as a midfielder and striker - was called up to the England Under 16 training camp whilst at Cambridge United and had trials with Doncaster Rovers before joining Lynn in the autumn of 2003.
Also signing is Gary Setchell on a twelve month contract who has signed for Lynn despite the attention of other clubs.
|
| 1 June 2004 | |
Lynn midfielder Jack Defty has committed himself to the club for another season despite the offer of trials from Lincoln City and Boston United.
He joins Danny Bloomfield, Mark Camm, Lee Stevenson, Craig Fishlock, Tony Battersby, Chris Bacon and Robbie Harris on the list of those committed to next season.
Leaving Lynn, however, is Gary Butterworth, Dale Watkins and Simon Nobes.
|
| 27 May 2004 | |
Centre forward Tony Battersby has become Lynn's second signing of the summer. The Doncaster born player (30.08.75) started as a trainee with Sheffield United in 1993 and then embarked on a career which saw him at Southend, Notts County, Bury, Lincoln City and Northampton. He joined Boston United in October 2002 and then moved on to Rushden, Hucknall, Stevenage and Gravesend and ended the 2003-04 season at Cambridge City. In all he has made over 250 Football League appearances scoring nearly fifty goals.
Potential transfer targets include Daryl Sutch and Mark Angel. Twenty eight year old Angel made 24 appearances for Boston United last season in a career which has also seen him make league appearances for West Brom, Queen of the South, Darlington and Oxford United.
Defender Daryl Sutch, 33, made over 250 league appearances for Norwich before moving on to Southend in January 2003 and then Boston United in May. He played in a nine games for Boston in the first part of the 2003-04 season.
|
| 24 May 2004 | |
Lynn look to have lost the services of Player of the Year David Staff who has gone on trial at Boston United.
The 24 year old, who had scored 43 goals in 100 games for Lynn, had been made a two year offer to stay at The Walks but the opportunity for league football was one which might never come along again.
Lynn have announced details of 2004/05 season tickets which apply to Dr Martens League games only and which will be on sale at the club from Tuesday 1 June.
Full: £120, concessions £70 (access to ground) or £137.50, concessions £87.50 (access to stand)
Vice-presidents: £350, includes hot buffet.
Casual admission stays the same: £7, concessions £4 but with an additional £1 charge to access the stand.
Details of Ridgeons League matches are to follow.
Lynn will play Cambridge City at Milton Road in a pre-season friendly on Saturday 24 July
|
| 16 May 2004 | |
Lynn have signed Danny Bloomfield on a two year deal - a move which clearly states that next season will not just be a matter of establish and survive in the new division.
Bloomfield returns to The Walks for his second spell after a successful loan spell in the 2001-02 season which saw him net seven goals in ten appearances.
The former Canaries marksman scored 30 goals in 53 appearances at Cambridge City last season - helping The Lilywhites to the highest league finish since 1992.
In capturing the 21-year old's signature Lynn beat off interest from Dagenham & Redbridge, Kettering and Welling United.
"He has been our number one target for the last six months and we have worked our socks off to get him here," added Boon. "He is quality and it's a massive coup for the club. This signing demonstrates we are serious about a crack at the title. Danny undoubtedly could play at a higher level but hopefully that will be with us," said joint manager Darren Bloodworth.
Bloomfield's signing was announced at the end-of-season Presentation Day on Sunday which saw David Staff pick up no less than five awards.
|
| 10 May 2004 | |
Lynn's title-winning double act Kevin Boon and Darren Bloodworth have been named Dr Martens Eastern Division joint managers of the year.
The winners of the other two Dr Martens Divisions have been similarly awarded.
King's Lynn's Dr Martens Eastern Division championship winning side is to be honoured with a civic reception on Friday, May 21.
Players and officials have been invited to attend an official function at the Town Hall to mark the Linnets' first league title in 50 years.
"It is a magnificent achievement not just for the town but for West Norfolk," said deputy mayor Paul Brandon. "This has been a long time in the making and the success of the football club undoubtedly generates a feel- good factor around the area."

| 03 May 2004 | |
Lynn's dream of Conference football ended in a 1-0 defeat at the hand of Western Division title winners Redditch United.
It was nothing more than the visitors deserved and but for some heroics from Wilson in the Lynn goal they could have been two goals down in the first ten minutes.
A double save from Wilson on five minutes as Redditch piled on the pressure
was followed by a shot on ten minutes was just about to cross the Lynn goal line
but hit the head of Redditch's Leadbetter and went over.
Lynn began to settle and carved out openings of their own with Holmes being
presented with a gilt edge chance following a mix up in the Redditch defence but
failed to take the opportunity - probably being surprised to see the ball.
Then Mark Camm went close with a header following good work from
Stevenson. Neil Manton was lucky only to receive a yellow card for a crude
challenge on Lee Stevenson as he was one of six players to go into the book -
Softley, Knight and Scheppel being the other offenders for Redditch whilst
Holmes and Stevenson were booked for Lynn.
Although Lynn had their moments they weren't able to test the Redditch goal
keeper until a Staff free kick in the second half and although Antiss spilled
the ball Redditch were able to clear for a corner.
Redditch adopted a route one approach and it paid dividends with a free kick
midway in their own half getting a head on to Richard Burgess to score.
Lynn continued to apply the pressure but failed to get support to the two front
runners. The introduction of Robbie Harris gave more options up front but on the
day it was Redditch who had the greater desire to win and deserved to go through
to play Merthyr on Saturday.
Lynn: Wilson, Jones, C Defty (Heath-Preston), Hammond, Fuff, Stevenson, Woodrow
(Harris), Holmes, Staff, Watkins (Bacon), Camm.
Redditch: Antiss, Manton (Quiggin), Gardiner, Taylor, Knight, Myers, Hall (Softley),
Scheppel, Leadbetter, Burgess (Shepherd), Cowley

Watkins and Bacon see Lynn to a 2-0 win over Fisher Athletic.
A pretty even first half saw a Fisher side, with a handful of former Tonbridge
Angels players, in no mood to hand over the championship to Lynn without giving
an account of themselves.
It was a nervous Lynn with passes going astray whilst Piper and Scannell looked
dangerous for the Fish.
The turning point came on 49 minutes when Lynn were awarded a possibly
fortuitous penalty - a shot hitting the hand of McKenzie. Dale Watkins made no
mistake from the spot. Lynn began to settle and Fisher frustrated as the game
tended to overheat and then, with 10
minutes remaining, substitute Chris Bacon capitalised on a mix up in the Fisher defence to
make sure of the title.
Lynn Reserves completed their league campaign with a 2-2 draw against Mildenhall
Town. Lee Hyde headed Lynn into a 12th minute lead but a brace from Adam Salmons
in the 19th and 37th minutes saw Lynn trail at the break. In the second half
Lynn had more of the possession but neither goal keeper was in demand. Simon
Bush equalised for Lynn midway through the half.

Redhead, Bush, Cobb, Doughty (Forshaw). Att: 132
