Lynn 6  Kettering Town 1

CLASSY Linnets notched their biggest win in this cup to reach the last 16.
It was also the first time Lynn had scored six and beaten Kettering in this competition.
Craig Clark notched his first goal of the season, and Jamie Clarke was a constant menace to the Poppies' defence.
Alright, it was a virtual Kettering second XI, but that takes nothing away from a confident Lynn performance, who gained their just reward for playing to feet.
Four Linnets were playing against their old club, while Kettering fielded Steve Lenagh, who went on loan to Lynn last season.
Lynn dominated the second period, the visitors rarely coming out of their own half.
The Linnets had to fight back from an early goal down.
Instead of smashing the ball into row Z, Clark underhit a back pass on a slippery surface and Steve Wilkinson scored at the second attempt after Lynn keeper Steve Wilson got a hand to the ball.
Kettering could have increased their lead but Wilson denied Darren Collins with his legs. From then on it was all Lynn.

Midway through the half Clarke sent in a teasing right wing cross which Lee Hudson volleyed home from close range for his first goal in nine games.
Ten minutes later Clarke repeated his assist, Hudson missing but Clark making up for his earlier error by coolly slotting into the opposite corner.
On the stroke of half-time the hosts took control of the game when Kevin White headed a quick Adie Hayes freekick across goal and Hudson hit the underside of the bar before following up to make sure of his second strike of the night.
The Linnets made it four on the hour when Hayes and Wayne Anderson had shots blocked, Anderson prevented the ball going out and Clarke's skidding effort was helped into the net by keeper Robert Wilde.
With three minutes left came a peach of a goal.
Danny Bloomfield, who had gone close several times, hit the ball past a player around the halfway line, outstripped the defence with his pace and deservedly scored his fourth goal in six games despite Wilde's despairing effort.
In injury time sub Louie Evans played the ball through to Hudson, who was upended by Wilde. Hudson had the chance of a hat-trick, but Hayes took the penalty and buried it in the bottom left corner to round off a night to remember.
