Lynn 5 Bashley 0

THE five-star Linnets went top of the table on Tuesday by two points - and could win the title at Gloucester on Saturday if they win and Team Bath fail to beat Bromsgrove.
Linnets boss Keith Webb said: "We got off to a great start with two fantastic goals. It gave us a lift and helped us relax without particularly starting well.
"We took time to get going again in the second half. Once the third goal went in, it killed the game, and it came through Michael Frew.
"That's the Frewy we know. He deserved a goal, and his crosses were even better than Joe's."
The weakened Bash were without a number of players, with 42-year-old player/manager Steve Riley bringing himself into the starting line-up.
They fought bravely throughout, but just 85 seconds into the game Joe Francis (who else?) scored his 23rd goal, as a low free-kick foiled David Elm at the near post.
Fans in the bumper 1,302 crowd could have been forgiven for thinking if the rain sodden pitch would cramp Lynn's style, but they needn't have worried with a second goal in the sixth minute.
The ball was played perfectly for Ben Sedgemore to try his luck from 25 yards with an unstoppable shot which arrowed into the top corner.

It looked to be Lynn's night when the visitors' top scorer Richard Gillespie went on a run before pulling up with a hamstring injury and he went off on the half-hour mark.
Five minutes before the break Michael Frew crossed for Jack Defty to head goalwards but Elm denied him with a great reaction save.
Eleven minutes after the interval another great Frew run-and-cross was rewarded with the third goal when Elm turned it into his own net.
Bashley's best chance came on 70 minutes when the Lynn defence momentarily switched off and Dave Town sent a powerful header inches wide.
Ben Chapman denied Town a clear run with a timely tackle, but that was it for the play-off chasers.
Frew, by this time playing down the middle, was denied by a last-ditch tackle and sub Danny Bloomfield's follow-up shot was too weak and was cleared off the line by Chris Knowles.
But Bloomfield finished a good move emphatically when Frew's shot was saved in the 87th minute.
In the 90th minute Steve Melton had a shot parried by Elm and fellow sub Kieran Deane finished a similarly simple chance to Bloomfield's Deane last scored, also as a sub, in the win over Swindon Supermarine in January.
