GREETINGS!
Welcome . . .
. . . to these pages dedicated to King's Lynn Football Club.
The aim of these pages is to provide a comprehensive guide to KLFC, and the history of the club.
However, I have attempted to attract the non-KLFC fan by going a little further and providing statistics for a number of leagues - mostly attendance related.
As for me, I was born in Lynn and have been supporting them since the early 1960's and at one time was Programme Editor (for ten years) and Director (for four days!).
When I am not looking after these pages I tend to be heavily involved in the theatre - writing for Curtain Call (a magazine for East Anglian drama enthusiasts) and stage lighting although I do tend to tread the boards and wear a frock when required!. Work is looking after the e-commerce servers for office2office (UK)  plc in Norwich so  I know the A47 intimately!
When the site was originally set up I tagged it as the book on KLFC that I will never write. Since then it has changed directions a few times but that is still the ultimate aim - although time seldom permits any move in that direction.

Links
I tend not to provide links to sites other than those of Southern/Ridgeons  League clubs. This is because there are so many clubs and other specialised web sites do it better!
Southern League links are from the Club Directory Ridgeons from the league tables.
Frequently Asked Questions
OKAY perhaps not frequently asked but the following have been asked at least once and therefore just might be of interest to others.

When are the results put online?
Generally speaking the results are transferred to the server between 5.30 and 6 each Saturday night  and 10-11 weekdays. Obviously much depends on whether I have gone to an away match.

How much does the site cost to run?
Virtually nothing. £5 a year. That is for the domain name. The site costs nothing but that is because of work, mere mortals would pay around £150 a year :-)

What do you use to write the pages?
It varies. Microsoft FrontPage 2003 and Textpad mostly. The Pull Down Menus are generated using Macromedia Fireworks. The League tables and other stats stuff are produced by Visual Basic scripts.

When are you appearing on stage?
No acting plans at present - just lighting
Touring with The Merry Widow - June/ July 2006
