Keith Webb (Manager)
Born: 03.10.61
Appointed 19 December 2007 and given a two and a half year full-time contract.
Spent over twenty years at Norwich City F.C. as a highly thought of member of their back room team.
A former Norwich City trainee, Keith played as centre-half in the Canaries' South East Counties League winning
side of 1980.
Despite not being offered a professional contact with the Club he joined the administration staff at Carrow Road
whilst gaining his coaching qualifications. Beginning with the Canaries Sunday Youth Team, Keith was promoted to
full-time Youth Team Coach in 1986 and then Assistant Academy Director upon the formation of the Academy set
ups within football.
Following Nigel Worthington's appointment as Manager in January 2001 Keith was promoted to the role of Reserve
Team Manager, winning the League Cup in 2001.
Lee Glover (Assistant Manager)
Born: 07.10.84 Kettering
Played over 300 league games, scoring some 80 goals in a career that took in Nottingham Forest, Rotherham,
Macclesfield and Mansfield.
Played for Burton Albion before managing Corby Town and Grantham. Qualified UEFA "A" coach.
Mark Peters (Defender)
Born: 06.07.72 St Asaph
Signed in July 2008 on release from Cambridge United.
A former Welsh Under-21 international, Peters started his career as a trainee with Manchester City in 1990 and
moved on to Norwich City two years later.
Having spent a season at Carrow Road he joined Peterborough United where he made 23 appearances before beginning
a five year spell at Mansfield.
The four years between 1999 and 2003 saw him at Rushden (139 appearances 10 goals).
Two years at Leyton Orient followed which included a brief loan period to Aldershot and then in August 2005 he
joined Cambridge United.
He played against Lynn in the FA Trophy match in the 2007-08 season and took part in the play-offs at the end
of the season against Burton Albion and Exeter.
He made 36 appearances for Cambridge in the 2007-08 season.
Simon Weaver (Defender)
Born: 20.12.77 Doncaster
Signed May 2008, Simon Weaver began his footballing career as a trainee with Sheffield Wednesday.
A loan spell saw him make two appearances for Doncaster Rovers before he was released by Sheffield in August 1998.
He was signed by ex-Linnet Keith Alexander who was in charge of Ilkeston Town and then spent 18 months playing for Nuneaton
Borough who released him at the end of the 2001-02 season.
He renewed acquaintances with Keith Alexander who by that time had become manager of Lincoln City and went on to make 101
appearances between May 2002 and December 2004, scoring five goals.
September 2004 saw Weaver on loan with Macclesfield but midway through the loan period he left Lincoln to join Kidderminster
Harriers on a free transfer.
Kidderminster were relegated at the end of the 2004-05 season and Weaver joined Scarborough for whom he made 22 appearances.
A trail with Bury followed but Weaver eventually signed for Tamworth in August 2006 after two appearances as an unused
substitute with York City.
Weaver subsequently signed for Boston United in December 2007, making 13 appearances and scoring three times, but could not
agreed terms for the new season.

Ben Sedgemore (Midfield)

Signed on a month's trial in December 2007 and subsequently stayed.
Ben Sedgemore has amassed over 400 competitive appearances in a career starting at Birmingham City as a trainee
in 1993. From there he spent time with Mansfield Town and Peterborough United through the 90s, making a £25,000
move to Macclesfield in March 1998. There he stayed three seasons, playing over a hundred games before moving
to Lincoln City for a further three seasons between February 2001 and August 2004. At Lincoln he remained a
regular first team starter, appearing in 118 games before his move to Canvey after two years he then moved to
Cambridge United in October 2006 and Rushden and Diamonds the following month. A brief stay with Havant &
Waterlooville was followed by his joining Chelmsford City at the start of the 2007 season but was released in
November 2007.

Signed summer 2006 on release from Nuneaton Borough. Frew scored seven goals for Nuneaton in the 2005-06 season before
moving on to Hucknall in March 2006 where he scored another three.

Ben Chapman (Defender)

Starting as a trainee with Grimsby Town he spent five years there making 21 league appearances before being
released and joining Boston United in the summer of 2002.
He made 80 appearances at Boston before moving on to Alfreton at the end of the 2003-04 season.
Having made 29 appearances there he then joined Northwich Victoria in 2005, making 29 starts in the season
which saw them gain promotion from Conference North.
A spell at Nuneaton saw him make 34 appearances and score once since his arrival at the start of the 2006-2007
campaign but he lost his place in early March.

Andrew Fisk (Midfield)

Signed on loan in December 2006 from Norwich City for the remainder of the season.
A product of the Canaries Academy who impressed sufficiently during his two year scholarship to be awarded a professional
contract at the end of 2005-06 season.
Released by Norwich at the end of the 2006-07 season and signed by Lynn.

Joe Francis (Forward)

Signed June 2007 fro Woodbridge own for whom he scored 27 goals in the 2006-07 season.
He joined Woodbridge in October 2004 having previously played for Suffolk & Ipswich League side Westerfield United.
He also had trials with Ipswich Town in December 2006, taking part in four games and scoring twice.

John Turner (Striker)

Signed on release from Grays Athletic in May 2007.
Turner began as a schoolboy at Aston Villa and was an English schoolboy international.
He was at Cambridge United for four years during which he scored 10 goals from 39 league starts and 46 substitute
appearances. He also had a loan spell at Aldershot before moving on to Rushden in January 2006 and then Grays the
following August.
In the 2006-07 season he also saw action with both Braintree and Bishop's Stortford in loan spells from his parent club.

Signed on a permanent basis in January 2004 following a successful loan spell.
Started his career at Sheffield United and then joined Lincoln City in the summer of 2000.
Made 14 starts for Lincoln City since joining the Imps, making his debut in November 2000 although in the 2003-04
season he was limited to one appearance on the bench.
Also spent time on loan to Gainsborough Trinity in the 2003-04 season.

Steve Melton (Midfield/Winger)

Signed October 2006 on release from Alfreton.
Melton played 12 games in a Reds' shirt, scoring once.
Born in Lincoln he started his career as a trainee with Nottingham Forest in 1996 before moving onto Stoke City in 2000.
Subsequent moves took him to Brighton and then Hull. He joined Boston United from Hull City in March 2004.
During his League career he had made 99 first team appearances scoring five goals prior to joining Boston.
He made nine appearances at the end of the 2003-04 season for The Pilgrims and a further further nine (including four as sub)
the following season.
The 2005-06 season saw a loan spell at Tamworth where he made ten appearances, scoring once.

Greg Crane (Defender)

Signed October 2006 having spent pre-season with Lynn before trialing for Cabridge United and playing for CRC.
He played for Norwich City youth team and was Man of the Man in The Canaries FA Youth Cup victory over champions
Aston Villa on 2nd December 2002.
He also captained City reserves but in January 2004 it was announced that he would not be offered professional terms
by the Canaries.
After trails with a number of league clubs he joined Lowestoft Town in March 2004.

Julian Joachim (Forward)
Born 20.09.74 Peterborough
Playing Debut:
Signed on release from Darlington in July 2008 where he had been their most expensive signing
when he joined from Boston United in August 2006 for £100,000.
Joachim joined Leicester City as a trainee and made his debut in 1992. After making some hundred
starts for Leicester he moved to Aston Villa in February 1996 for a £1.5 million fee, Joachim
rewarding Villa with thirty-nine goals in ninety league starts.
July 2001 saw the start of a three year stint at Coventry City where 69 appearances reaped 14 goals.
Joachim then moved to Leeds United in the summer of 2004 where the year saw him making a total of 31
appearances scoring two goals. The season ended with a loan spell at Walsall where six goals were
scored from eight starts - including a hat-trick against Hull City.
Rather than staying with Walsall, Joachim opted for a move to Boston United where he spent the
2005-06 season where he went on to score nineteen goals.
August 2006 saw Joachim sign for Darlington, making a total of 87 appearances - scoring 16 times.
Scott Howie (Goalkeeper)
Born: 04.01.72
Playing Debut: 2 April 2007 v Wealdstone (A) Southern League Won 1-1
Glasgow born and a former Scotland Under 21 'keeper. Howie started his league career in Scotland with Clyde in 1991.
He made 55 appearances before joining Norwich City for £300,000 in August 1993 as an understudy for Bryan Gunn.
He made just two appearances for Norwich (one start and one sub) before moving on to Motherwell in October 1994 for
whom he made 69 appearances.
He had a loan period with Coventry City in early 1998 and then signed for Reading where he made 85 appearances over
four seasons.
He signed for Bristol Rovers in August 2001 making 90 appearances and then a further forty for Shrewsbury Town
having joined them two years later.
He then joined Cambridge United and was first choice keeper for the 2005-06 season making 33 appearances but
retired in May 2006 in order to concentrate on his business interests - making himself available for Cambridge as
required. The former Scotland Under 21 'keeper.

Danny Bloomfield (Forward)

First signed on loan in the 2001-02 season from Norwich City
He returned to Lynn with a two year deal in May 2004.
Joined for a third spell in March 2007 and scored on each of his debuts.
Bloomfield's career started with Felixstowe and Walton and he made his debut for Norwich City Reserves
in December 2000.
Signed by the Canaries in January 2001 on a contract and released in March 2002.
Joined Bournemouth on a one year rolling contract in August 2002.
Loaned to Cambridge City for whom he signed permanently in November 2002. The following season he was the
league's joint leading scorer with 30 goals in 53 appearances,
In May 2005. Bloomfield turned down the chance to remain with Cambridge City for another year even though
they would be playing in the new Conference South and joined Lynn.
Transferred to Histon 2 February 2006 and then to Heybridge Swifts from whom he re-joined Lynn.

A young manager, with a lot of football experience, who has played for Dereham Town, Downham Town and Ely City in
The Eastern Counties League.
Has coached and developed young players at Cambridge City and Cambridge United. Is now at the College of West Anglia
leading and lecturing on football development.
NEIL FRYATT (Assistant Manager) -
A Linnet through and through, starting his career in his mid-teens, he played for King’s Lynn for 15 years, in youth,
reserves and first teams.
Was player/coach at Swaffham Town for 7 years, leading them to Division One Championship, and was also player/coach at
Downham Town for 2 years.
Neil has won 3 Norfolk Senior Cup winners medals and is a U.E.F.A. “B” qualified Coach. He returned to his home town
Club in early 2006 concentrating on coaching and developing the young Youth and Reserve team players.
STEVEN BERWICK (Goalkeeper) -
Born: 25.09.91
A young keeper with lots of potential. Having impressed in his first full season with the Youth Squad he has grasped
the opportunity of becoming part of the Reserve Squad.
A member of the successful 07/08 Youth Team who won the Northern Division of the Ridgeons Youth League and the Ridgeons
Youth Cup.
Steven started early with The Linnets having progressed through King’s Lynn Community Football and West Norfolk Schools Squads.
GARY BUSH (Defender) -

A strong left footed defender who started his playing career with Norwich City Academy and then joined King’s Lynn Youth,
progressing into the Reserves team. Has had spells with Downham Town, Swaffham Town and Gayton United in the Anglian
Combination League.
MATTHEW CALVERT (Midfield/Defender) -
Born: 11.12.89
In his first season with The Linnets, having spent his having previously played for Downham Town.
An exciting young player, very comfortable down the left hand side in either midfield or full back position.

In third season with King’s Lynn. A member of the successful 07/08 Youth Team who won
the Northern Division of the Ridgeons Youth League and the Ridgeons Youth Cup.
Before his family moved to the King’s Lynn area, Glen gained experience at Tottenham centre of excellence.
LUKE FELL (Forward) -

James Spittlehouse (Defender) -
Born: 03.03.90
In his fourth season at The Walks, having progressed through King’s Lynn Community Football and West Norfolk School
Squads. A solid defender who has played for Norfolk County U18 team. James captained the successful 07/08 Youth
Team who won the Northern Division of the Ridgeons Youth League and the Ridgeons Youth Cup.
Tom Spittlehouse (Midfield/Defender) -
Born: 08.04.92
Younger brother of James. Tom is in his second season at The Walks and has progressed significantly since he was
selected to play in King’s Lynn Youth team. He was previously with Cambridge United, King’s Lynn Community Football
and West Norfolk Schools Squads. A member of the successful 07/08 Youth Team who won the Northern Division of the
Ridgeons Youth League and the Ridgeons Youth Cup.
Joe Setchell (Midfield / Defender) -
Joe is in his fourth year with The Linnets.
A player who has accomplished footwork and vision, having gained experience with Cambridge United and King’s Lynn
Community Football and West Norfolk School Squads.
A good young prospect, he will have a good career in the future and another player who has represented Norfolk County
U18 team. A member of the successful 07/08 Youth Team who won the Northern Division of the Ridgeons Youth League
and the Ridgeons Youth Cup.
Tom Rix (Goalkeeper) -
Born: 03.12.89
In his fourth season at The Walks. A solid young keeper who has established himself at The Linnets. Has represented
Norfolk County and if he continues his progress he has an excellent future in front of him. A member of the successful
07/08 Youth Team who won the Northern Division of the Ridgeons Youth League and the Ridgeons Youth Cup.
Daryll Rose (Forward) -
Born: 06.10.89
A speedy wide player in his second season with King’s Lynn who is looking to push his career forward. A member of the
successful 07/08 Youth Team who won the Northern Division of the Ridgeons Youth League and the Ridgeons Youth Cup.
Martin Rudd (Forward/Midfield) -
Deceptive versatile player who has taken to the challenge of playing at a higher level of football. A utility player
who has an excellent footballing brain.
Kyle Nicholls (Midfield / Defender) -
This is Kyle’s third season at The Walks. An exciting versatile player with exciting ball control.
He has had previous experience with Norwich City and has represented Norfolk County in U18 team. A member of the
successful 07/08 Youth Team who won the Northern Division of the Ridgeons Youth League and the Ridgeons Youth Cup.
Steven Norris (Goalkeeper) -
Born: 03.10.90
Another talented young goalkeeper who joined The Linnets last season. Steven has been involved with English Schools
Squads and represented Norfolk County at Under 18 level. To broaden his experience, King’s Lynn sent him on loan to
Swaffham Town last season.
Lewis Osborn (Midfield) -
Born: 01.03.91
Versatile midfield player who has progressed through King’s Lynn Community Football Squads. Has represented Norfolk
County at Schoolboy level and is also a member of the U18 team.
Lee Hyde (Defender/Midfield) -
Born: 04.03.82
An uncompromising robust campaigner who has a never say die attitude and leads the squad by example. Has spent his
playing career between Wisbech and the Linnets and is pushing to be a member of the first team squad.
Tom McCarthy (Midfield) -
Born: 04.11.91
An exciting young midfield player who has gained experience having been with Norwich City, Cambridge United and
King’s Lynn Community Football and West Norfolk Schools Squads.
A member of the successful 07/08 Youth Team who won the Northern Division of the Ridgeons Youth League and the
Ridgeons Youth Cup.
