Carl Heggs (Manager)
Born: 11.10.70
Appointed 1st June 2009.
Born in Leicester, his career started with Leicester United and he then went on to make appearances for West Brom, Bristol Rovers,
Swansea, Northampton, Rushden, Chester and Carlisle.
Spells with Forest Green, Ilkeston, Tamworth and Hinckley followed before he joined Redditch United in 2007 as a player. He returned
to them two months into the following season as player coach.
Adam Sinclair (Assistant Manager)
Appointed September 2009 replacing Andy Johnson.
Adam Sinclair was a youth team player with Luton Town, Kettering Town and Rushden & Diamonds and began scouting for Aston Villa and
coaching while playing part-time for Buckingham Town. >He was the assistant academy coach at Villa for 8 seasons,
earning a UEFA 'A' licence. He also became the assistant academy manager (9-16 yr olds) at MK Dons, supervising the Dons schoolboy
programme. In 2006 Adam became the U-18 youth team manager while also coaching MK Dons reserves. In 2007 he was appointed head coach at Aston
Villa (U-14), while also coaching Kettering Town's U-18's at Moulton College. He was appointed assistant manager of the Poppies in July 2008
and during his time there saw the win promotion from Conference North.
He left Kettering in May 2009 and recently worked with Northampton and MK Dons.
Andy Johnson (Assistant Manager/Midfield)

Former Norwich City, Nottingham Forest, Leicester and West Brom midfielder signed January 2009.
A former England Youth international who joined Norwich as a trainee and captained the Youth side going on to make his first team
debut against Sheffield Wednesday in April 1992.
In the years that followed he made a total of seventy-five appearances for the Canaries, scoring 14 goals.
July 1997 saw a transfer to Nottingham Forest for £2.2 million and it was while with them he made his international debut for Wales
(being eligible via a Welsh grandmother).
Moved to West Bromwich for a £200,000 fee in September 2001 having made a total of 128 appearances for Forest.
Buring his time with the Baggies Johnson made 143 appearances scoring 8 goals.
June 2006 saw Johnson sign for Leicester City where he stayed until the following May having made 21 appearances, scoring once.
He then signed for Championship side Barnsley in June 2007 where he stayed until his release in January 2009 having taken part
in five games.
Appointed assistant to Carl Heggs 5 June 2009.

Daniel is a former Chesterfield trainee who has had spells at Kettering, Coalville, Worksop, Tamworth and Mansfield Town.
Departed August 2009 having not featured in a competitive match
Zak Martin (Defender)
Born: 20/09/90 Birmingham
Signed late June 2009, a former West Bromwich Albion 2nd year Academy scholar.
Described as a strong-tackling, aggressive full-back on the Baggies website.
Played for Baggies Youth and Reserve teams and also had a trial with Walsall in April 2009

Carl Palmer (Midfield)
Born: 02/11/78 Wolverhampton
Signed September 2009 from Hednesford Town.
Prior to his first spell at Hednesford in 2003 he had been with Wednesfield (twice), Sandwell Borough, Bilston, and Rushall Olympic.
Following two seasons at Hednesford he moved on to Redditch United, leaving them in 2007 he spent the following season at Nuneaton Borough.
The following season he started with Stafford Rangers but was one of the casualties when financial constrants forced changes to the squad in
December 2008.
He spent the remainder of the season with Rushall Olympic before joining Hednesford at the start of the current season.
In his two spells at Cross Keys he made 84 appearances, scoring four goals.
Owen Story
Born: 03/08/84
Signed from Redditch United in June 2009 where he scored six goals from 38 league appearances for The Reds in the 2008-09 season.
A wide midfielder he started as a youth player with Rushden & Diamonds and then went to Torquay United in January 2005 via the
University set up at Team Bath.
He signed for Hinckley United towards the end of the 2004/05 season, moving on to Redditch in the summer of 2008.
Jordon Smith

Signed June 2009. A former Redditch United player who was recruited by them from Thurnby Rangers.
Lewis Webb (Midfield)
Born: 13/03/91
Signed June 2009 from Peterborough United where he became part of Posh's youth set-up in January 2007 having played for Yaxley under 18s.
The 2008-09 season saw him gain work experience with Aylesbury United and Stamford.
Joe Magunda (Defender)
Born: 16/04/89
Signed June 2009. A former Leicester City Academy player, who has also represented England at Under-16 and 17 levels, completed ten
league games on loan with Conference side Woking last season to prove his fitness following injury.
Gareth Sheldon (Forward)
Born: 31/01/80
Signed June 2009 from Conference North champions Tamworth. Scorer of 23 goals in the 2008-09 season. Beginning as a trainee with
Scunthorpe United with whom he won the league two play off final a memorable moment being when he came off the substitutes' bench
in the second leg of the semi-final against Swansea to score twice in extra time.
He then moved to Exeter City and Kidderminster before short spells at Hereford and Halesowen saw him move to Tamworth for the start
of the 2007-08 season when he netted his first ever competitive hat-trick
Callum Lloyd (Midfield)
Born: 01/01/86
Signed June 2009 from Hinckley United.
He signed for Hinckley United in October 2007 from Kettering Town and (apart from a week back at Kettering) went on to make 71
appearances, scoring 8 goals.
A former Mansfield Town trainee he made 48 appearances before joining Kettering in June 2007 via a loan spell at Alfreton Town.
Craig McAughtrie (Midfield)
Born: 03/03/81 Burton-on-Trent
Signed June 2009 and made club captain.
A policeman, he was recruited from Conference North champions Tamworth, he has been given a year's contract.
He began his professional career with Sheffield United as a trainee before moving to Carlisle United in August 2000 for whom he
made ten league appearances.
Two years later he joined Stafford Rangers and made over 200 appearances for the club during a period that saw them promoted from
Conference North before signing for Tamworth in September 2007.

Matt Birley (Midfield)
Born: 26/07/86
Signed June 2009 from Tamworth.
A midfield player who can play on either wing he is a former product of Birmingham City's Academy he joined Tamworth in October 2008
from Bromsgrove Rovers.
At Birmingham he made his Premiership debut on December 31, 2005, when he came on as a substitute for Emile Heskey in the match
against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
He took part in two further games for Birmingham, in the FA Cup against Reading and the League Cup against Norwich.
He spent December 2006 on loan to at Lincoln City and was released by Birmingham the following May.
A trail at AFC Bournemouth followed but he subsequently joined Bromsgrove Rovers.

Liam Murray (Defender)
Born: 01/08/85 Stafford
Signed July 2009. Starting his career with Shrewsbury Town he played regularly for their reserves and then went on loan to Leigh Genesis
at the end on the 2004-05 season.
A spell at his home club of Stafford was followed by a summer 2007 move to Droylsden.
The beginning of the 2008-09 season saw him at Redditch United before he rejoined Stafford in February 2009.
He reportedly signed for Solihull Moors in May but then opted to join Lynn.
Anthony Robinson (Forward)
Born: 31/12/79 Birmingham
Signed July 2009 having made 13 appearances for Mansfield Town last year (2008-09) (12 of these from the bench) in a season which
also saw him appear for Worcester City, Studley, Redditch United, Stratford Town, Evesham United and Atherstone.
A full Barbados international who started his career as a schoolboy with Birmingham City and later moved to Coventry City as an
YTS apprentice and then professional.
His next move to Kidderminster Harriers saw him make 40 appearances in the Conference.
Peterborough United followed before moving on again with stints at Bedworth United, Stourbridge, Stourport Swifts and Studley.
Danny Gay (Goal keeper)
Born: 05/08/82 King's Lynn
Signed August 2009 following injury to jason White. Progressed though the youth and Academy sides at Norwich.
He played in Norwich Reserves Avon Insurance League Cup final against Reading in April 2001 where he was the hero in a 5-3 penalty
shoot-out (ex-Linnet Scott Howie was in goal for Reading!).
He joined Southend in May 2001 making his debut the following December in a 1-0 win against Rochdale. He went on to make 11 league
appearances.
In March 2003 he was called in as standby for the Welsh Under-21 team but ended the season on loan to Hornchurch where he spent the
following season keeping a clean sheet in the FA Cup when Hornchurch defeated Darlington.
He moved on to Braintree in August 2004 rejoining former Hornchurch manager George Borg, and then moved to Bishops Stortford the
following year.
He returned to Braintree towards the latter part of January 2006, helping them win the Ryman League title.
July 2006 saw him move to Heybridge Swifts.
After a trial at Leeds United in pre-season 2007 and then returned to Essex, joining Chelmsford City for the 2007-08 season.
After help them win promotion to Conference South he was released at the end of the 2008/9 season.
Jason White (Goal keeper)
Born: 28/01/84
Signed August 2009
Having been released by Nottingham Forest at the age of 16 he was with Mansfield Town from 2000 making 57 league appearances and
eventually being transfer listed in January 2009 and his contract ending May 2009.
Andrew Boyce (Defender)
Born: 05/11/89
A product of the Doncaster Rovers Academy. He was released by Rovers in January of this year having spent most of the 2008-09 season
on loan to Worksop Town - playing against Lynn when the Tigers visited The Walks in the FA Cup.
He recently had a trial with Mansfield.
IN RESERVE
KEITH RUDD (Reserve Manager):
A Linnet through and through having played with Lynn from his late teens. A prolific goal scorer,
notching up over 200 goals, in 604 first team appearances. Has had 2 spells as first team manager, the first from
1978/84, when Lynn were moved from the Southern to Northern Premier League and success coming in winning the
President's Cup and the Norfolk Senior Cup.
His second spell was in season 1989/90. Keith is a U.E.F.A. "A' qualified Coach and is a Coach Educator
for the F.A. He took the Under 18 side to the Ridgeons Youth Championship in 2004/05 and took over the Reserve team in
Summer 2009.
NEIL FRYATT (Youth Team Manager) -
A Linnet through and through, starting his career in his mid-teens, he played for King's Lynn for 15 years, in youth,
reserves and first teams.
Was player/coach at Swaffham Town for 7 years, leading them to Division One Championship, and was also player/coach at
Downham Town for 2 years.
Neil has won 3 Norfolk Senior Cup winners medals and is a U.E.F.A. "B" qualified Coach. He returned to his home town
Club in early 2006 concentrating on coaching and developing the young Youth and Reserve team players.
GARY BUSH (Defender) -
Born: 19.08.81
A strong left footed defender who started his playing career with Norwich City Academy and then joined King's Lynn Youth,
progressing into the Reserves team. Has had spells with Downham Town, Swaffham Town and Gayton United in the Anglian
Combination League.
STEPHEN HARVEY (Defender)

Another young attack minded defender, in his seventh seasonal the Walks. who has developed through the youth team
and is on the verge of the first team squad.

In fourth season with King's Lynn. A member of the successful 07/08 Youth Team who won
the Northern Division of the Ridgeons Youth League and the Ridgeons Youth Cup.
Before his family moved to the King's Lynn area, Glen gained experience at Tottenham centre of excellence.
LUKE FELL (Forward) -

James Spittlehouse (Defender) -

In his fifth season at The Walks, having progressed through King's Lynn Community Football and West Norfolk School
Squads. A solid defender who has played for Norfolk County U18 team. James captained the successful 07/08 Youth
Team who won the Northern Division of the Ridgeons Youth League and the Ridgeons Youth Cup.
Tom Spittlehouse (Midfield/Defender) -
Born: 08.04.92
Younger brother of James. Tom is in his third season at The Walks and has progressed significantly since he was
selected to play in King's Lynn Youth team. He was previously with Cambridge United, King's Lynn Community Football
and West Norfolk Schools Squads. A member of the successful 07/08 Youth Team who won the Northern Division of the
Ridgeons Youth League and the Ridgeons Youth Cup.
Tom Rix (Goalkeeper) -
Born: 03.12.89
In his fourth season at The Walks. A solid young keeper who has established himself at The Linnets. Has represented
Norfolk County and if he continues his progress he has an excellent future in front of him. A member of the successful
07/08 Youth Team who won the Northern Division of the Ridgeons Youth League and the Ridgeons Youth Cup.

A speedy wide player in his third season with King's Lynn who is looking to push his career forward. A member of the
successful 07/08 Youth Team who won the Northern Division of the Ridgeons Youth League and the Ridgeons Youth Cup.

Deceptive versatile player who has taken to the challenge of playing at a higher level of football. A utility player
who has an excellent footballing brain.
