My son plays for the reserves and has on occasion played for the first team (was mentioned in yesterdays article) He would love to play for the first team on a more regular basis if thought good enough but which is better 90 minutes of play for the reserves or polishing the substitutes bench and no match minutes?
It's a tough decision for a young player to have to make.

Because they are getting paid to do a job.
Pure professionalism that should not be effected by the level of support in the stadia.
They don't get paid for cup matches - as far as I know

I AM slightly biased but if you invest £3 in watching the reserves next Saturday you will be guaranteed a good game of football.
Pleased remember though that this league does insist on a 2.00 pm Kick off so don't turn up at 2.45 and expect to see a full match!!

If not travelling with the first team why not visit the Walks and support the Reserves.
They are playing Ryhall tomorrow with a 2pm kick off (no wedding this week!!)
Should be an entertaining afternoon well worth £3.
