Does anyone know the record attendance for a league game in this league? We set the record in the UCL,can we do this one? :scarf:  :scarf:  :scarf:
we had a gate of over 3500 against Nuneaton in the southern league midland division, the equivalent to this league in the mid nineties which was a record then i think.

When you consider Dunkley and Beaumont have only scored 14 and 13 goals respectively its amazing we are in this position.Turner left what seems an age ago and is just behind them and he hardly started a game.If promoted surely a more regular goalscorer will be needed?
Beaumont has scored most off his goals from comming of the bench. So did Turner.Hardly started a game and was well ahead of Beaumont even before his injury.

Good write up in today's EDP.
Would have liked to have seen him play with Thompson and Beaumont think it would have been interesting.
Best wishes Jack from all your admirers.  :scarf:

Just to say Kev Cross is Lynns most senior player and not Kev White as stated.I know as played with both in the past.

Awesome today Quigs, even in the first half when a majority of the players were a bit of the pace....well done and a well deserved hatrick mate. Changed the game when we got a bit of pace on the pitch. Danny B and Sam well done..... :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
You dont think Spriggs is quick then?

Poor first half in general.Second half was much better.Thomson was excellent second half along with Lee, but there were much better performances all round.

Where do you consider that to be ?
In the middle.A lot of the players that played in leagues higher are used to getting more time on the ball.Thomson best game so far has been worksop.
The more talented players look like they have more time on the ball but i can assure you Barcelona and Real close down much quicker than any team in Lynns  league.Agree that Thomson is best central though.Has good composure.

Dire game.Too many balls from back to front. As stated we looked much better when Thomson came on and was calm in possesion.Beaumonts performance was summed  up when he trod on the ball and fell on his arse.If hes a better wide man than JT then its time for me to stop watching football.

Quality player. Was superb in his first season but lost confidence with people saying he was over indulgent etc.Could sit any fullback on his pants and whipped in numerous quality balls for Jack to nod home. Its a real shame as talent wise nobody in our squad comes near him.Gazza didnt have pace but could still beat peole for fun.

Yong is a fullback who could be used as an emergency winger but not on a permanent basis.Lee for me is too slow to be a fullback but is a very decent centreback, while lacking pace has a composure that Fryatt seems to be short of when the pressure is on.

Spriggo will be a massive loss but JT not so. He can't command a first team spot and is not direct enough
Total balls Bragman.Hes probably our most talented player and with all the games to catch up we cant afford to lose him or Spriggs. He is bound to feature at some stage.Every time he has come on we look to have a better balance with Thompson more central as has been stated.

Alex Street commanded his area and made some supurb saves.

My Man Of The Match today!
Well done, Pedro!   :clap1: :clap1: :clap1:

I think Pedro should keep the shirt as our No.1 awesome!!!!!

It was Pedros best ever game for Lynn I can't remember him making a mistake even when he got poleaxed. Can't agree about the man of the match though,I thought there were fourteen of them today.

I agree and think that Pedro should retain the jersey. Though in some quarters he has been blamed at least partially for their goal. From a distance (main stand) it seemed to me that the wall was at fault and there were a few accusing looks when the ball went straight through. Pedro surely had a right to expect the wall to do its job whilst he concentrated mainly on the other side of the goal???????????
The players in the wall def.Went through waist height.
