Totally agree Milly, as i posted earlier.
No point in saying Setch pillaged ridgeons league and wisbech for players for a new team. What do you think Heggs would do if he got the job. Rape and pillage teams from a different area, thats all.
As i said earlier. GIVE THE MAN A CHANCE   :banghead: :banghead:

Unfair to blame Kevin Boon for the not winning the league this season he wasn't even with us for most of it.
What they did was monstrous.
And they have created a monster.

But that's exactly what he did. Wasn't it half the Wisbech starting 11 he took, doubling most of their pay?

Soz, I thought you were was saying that Boon signed all the players who have failed to win a promotion for 2nd year.  So blaming him cos you thought players weren't good enough
What they did was monstrous.
And they have created a monster.

Re Heggs,if my memeory serves me correctly I think we were still in a position to get promotion when the bubble burst. He brought in better quality players than Webb ever did,and certainly better than we have had this season, and they did not cost a fortune. If we are expected to pay more because of the size of our club then at least get players who are worthy of the money, not a collection of ex Ridgeon league, and much travelled UCL misfits.l

the talk about players growing with the club and playing at a higher level

Unfortunately the level of players that Heggs brought in would not be interested in playing at UCL level.
Lets be honest.....it's going to take a certain level of player to get us out of the UCL and then a different level of player to keep us from going back.......in my opinion anyway :gossip:

I thought our aim, and we were promised, we would get out of this league as quickly as possible.   The points are irrelevant, the number of games lost are irrelevant.   It's coming first that counts, nothing else.   We have lost twice to the team that looks like it will win the league, that makes us second best.    Second best in a league that whatever you say, is a very low standard, and one that a good manager with a decent budget should be able to win with relative ease.
Just my opinion of course, but if everyone is happy with second best, then fine, but I don't somehow think I am in the minority in my thinking.   The only certain way is to win it.

Is winning the League really that important, if this is such a low standard league does it matter about winning in ? Lets get our prmotion then aim to win something that really has a meaning.

I think it's more the fact that it looks like you've failed to win it trebor, again, despite having more resources than a lot of the other teams put together.

As much as you lot like to continually belittle the only league that would have you, the fact remains that you can't even win it.

I'm not sure i can call the cup final either, so it looks as though it could be £150k+ on wages and not a trophy to show for it at all after two seasons playing, and half a season plotting on robbing Wisbech and a few other Ridgeons teams of their best players.

Those players were invited (legally) to leave their previous team and join King's Lynn Town. They accepted the terms offered. How is that robbery?
Remember Team: if your attack is going well - it's an ambush! and: dominate the ground of tactical importance - that's the whole pitch guys!
