Setch will have a plan....remember he hadn't finished looking for players for next season anyway so I'm sure his list is plenty long enough

Really? I thought he had finished looking, and was just waiting on the answer from one LB individual.  :dontknow:

Let's hope this doesn't give the signal to any other player with itchy feet!    Makes Cousins' look more likely  :furious3:

You would have hoped we would have learned a lesson and really tied things up well after last season when Callum Reed changed his mind after supposedly signing, but then decided against it   :banghead:.

I think players are free to sign for who they like at the moment. As ourselves and Corby compete in different Leagues then at this time of year players can sign for as many clubs as they like, as long as its in different leagues

No clubs can sign players until the League they are in has had their AGM, and the signing on forms have been issued. However a club can put a player on a contract. Read into that what you like.

If a player wants to leave and he isn't on contract we can't stop him. Maybe Setch received the 7 dayer from Corby and decided to waive it so that we have the maximum amount of time possible to find a replacement?

i read into that that we need the main players in the squad on contracts.whats the point of having a benefactor running a club putting vast amounts of money into it as his son has claimed he has if we can't spend a bit of money securing the services of players like Webb?this has happened before and as far as I can see we are doing nothing to stop it happening again. If the owners are not prepared to commit to such things as this then whats the point in having them here? Its not a case of overspending its a case of money going in the right direction for the benefit of the club so we can proceed through the non league pyramid

Well, thats the money free'd up for the LB player.

Apparently, just wanted to play at a higher level.

Struggled at step 4 last season can't see him having any impact at step 3 OR have you got it wrong maybe gone to s&l Corby.

Did ok at step 3 for the old club, useful sort of player to have around.  Perhaps you just didn't get the best out of him, or maybe Heggs/Sinclair did - it was certainly a team that was more than the sum of its parts so perhaps many of them were playing that little bit above their level
