A17 Traffic issue
« on: June 15, 2012, 11:25:28 AM »
Not normally the place for this but it may be helpful to many

A17 just beyond Pullover in KL, towards Sutton Bridge, could be shut for several hours after incident involving overturned lorry.

More on that Traffic issue in West Norfolk

Via Kings Lynn Police @KingsLynnPolice Twitter

Officers at scene of RTC on A17 in KL, towards Sutton Bridge, are waiting for a new lorry to arrive to decant contents of overturned tanker.
The overturned tanker's got liquid nitrogen in it, no immediate danger to the public, but needs to be decanted before it can be recovered.
That's why it could take several hours to open the road again. Please also be aware of heavy traffic on the diversion routes.

Main Traffic is being diverted via Wisbech and this is now gridlocked according to Norfolk Green .

Major issues on the A47 as well ..

Diversions along the A47 do not appear to be causing any problems. Traffic is moving freely in both directions.
Why walk when you can run?
