Chapmans Support
« on: June 13, 2012, 06:48:23 PM »
I support the Chapmans I thank them for everything they have done and achieved for KLTFC, this thread is in support of a nice family who have works their socks off for our club.

There is a place for the trust who equally have workd hard - its a shame the 2 parties cannot join together but if thats how it is then so be it, but at the end of the day KLTFC should be the most important thing not individuals.

Good to read such well balanced message which i fully support. It really would be great if 'both sides' could work in harmony for the good of the club.

I get the feeling it was locked as it had come to a natural conclusion,i think it had all been said and was starting to come round again.

Some of the debate was healthy but getting repetitive and there was too much trivia and so called "banter".
It seemed to have run its course.

people who were posting on the thread obvisouly didnt think it was getting repetitve. As for so called "banter",is that not  what a lot of forum posts are. There was more to be said on that thread.Seems to me Admin that if the thread does`nt suit you or your bored with it you lock it.

On the previous thread, Bragman asked:
Sorry but i may be wrong here but were not the accounts for the year when the club was reformed and the grant recieved made public last year? Was it not there for everone to read?
As for being "your money" as Grissles said,i dont agree with that (suprise suprise). When you buy something such as a product or entry to an entertaiment venue, do you demand or expect to be told  where your money has gone or what it has been used for? No you dont.So why should the owners of the club tell you what your £8 entry fee is used for.
Next time you go to the cinema or indeed another football ground just write a letter to the owners asking where your money will go.I`m sure they will fall over themselves to tell you

Any Trust run club will provide that information to their membership and some publish their accounts on their websites, just for balance a local non-trust run club but with good supporter consultation
Norwich accounts: http://www.canaries.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~2481966,00.html
(and open fan consulation): http://www.canaries.co.uk/page/ConsultationIndex/0,,10355,00.html

Don't need to turn this into a Trust vs Chapmans debate because it is much wider than that and I am not a Trust member.  Those who were on the forum at the time will vouch that I also criticised the previous regime for their lack of openness and unfortunately think that the current owners are little better in their dealings with the fans, which is not to question their business acumen but without evidence to the contrary I will remain sceptical.  The information filed at Companies House just raised more questions than it answered (and there was no mention of the £150K grant), lets hope they file more this year, although I accept they are within the law in filing what they did

maybe because for some strange reason the cheque was written out to Norfolk arena.
I'd also be interested in where the £200000 plus amount that was given as a gift went.or so it was apparently claimed at a fans forum. Its these kind of stupid comments which are probably not true that causes problems and why some fans concerns about the running of the club and just want more information
