So just for arguments sake a family make a day out of it.Say Dad , grandpa and two teenage kids. At Wroxham that's £7 + £4 +0 +0 =£11 for the four.Pretty good these days for an afternoon's entertainment.
Think that's good enough to tempt me to see them a few times. At Lynn its hmm let me see....................

maybe if you went and enojyed the facilities on offer and dont go for the football you would not mind so much.

Surely the name of the game is you are there to watch the football.  The rest is of only passing interest.  A lot of these modern grounds dont do it for me.

Don't think we've ever been promoted to step 4 before.
We were relegated to step 4 in our previous incarnation.

Just to confuse the debate even more, Northern League Division 1 was Step 3 until the creation of Conference North/South in 2004 - same level as the DM Eastern League we played in from '02 - '04.
In effect by failing to beat Redditch in that play off game, we were promoted from Step 3 to Step 3.

I 've enjoyed the facilities at the Walks more than enough times to know the strong points and their limits.I don't see any point personally paying extra for something which quite honestly I believe to be a hindrance rather than an asset in the long term.Clubs need to be lean and efficient these days, otherwise they will end up in debt to someone. The Walks can hold around 6,000 safely at the moment and possibly 10,000 if more was spent. At say £9 an average of 600 will be good going this term. That means 90% of the ground is empty. Also the proportion of space that can be rented out to outsiders for functions is incredibly small, there are no training/5 a side pitches or facilities etc etc.The existing model hasn't worked above step4 for the last 50 years and however many times you re-invent the wheel I struggle to see what has really changed.

In fairness the Council have paid money out over the years for the people of Kings Lynn to have a half decent football stadium.  Using rate payers money.  Now Young Master Chapman wants the same people to pay again when they enter the place.  Maybe they will only put the prices up a quid instead of 2.

Yes, maybe Cary.Though in fairness also to Mr Chapman, he has made it clear that this is a business and as such needs to return a profit. The concern comes if the business starts to struggle to make a profit. If this point is reached then there is always the risk that the whole cycle starts again for the club.

True.  Also when we played in the old Northern and Southern Premier leagues in the days of election to the Football League; we were effectively competing at Step 1.
