I'm sure some of our more vocal supporters will soon let him know what he has let himself in for. Personally I would rather he played his football elsewhere after his remarks and conduct last season

Not often we agree.

i agree too!

Welcome Dan im sure you can add quality to a good side being put together by Setch ....Well done Setch.

agree with that with 1st stone but when its the 2nd and 3rd stone you sometimes get worried about the 4th and others that follow.

But Grissles, going on the jack comments, how many people on here said jack was too slow last year etc but moaned when he left?? It's opinions. Jack was good for the club but lacked something in the second half of last season in my opinion. We don't have to love the guy, you don't even have to be friends with him but he's in the squad. I didn't agree with his comments last year or how he acted at the game but he's 22. I bet you made mistakes aged 22 as well.

I can see why people have their opinions and he will have to work harder than other new signings to win the fans over but time will tell if he is willing to push that on. Also meet the guy with a clear mind, might be surprised.

This is the first time i feel  Setch has disappointed me with signings.Quigley had better keep his head down a do a decent job. I feel Setch has let a lot of fans down with this one. Football is personal. Quigley made sure of that.

Have to take the comments into context Bridge, players and fans alike all say things in the heat of a game, but after the event on facebook is different! Asking us to cut him some slack is fine, but not explaining his fb comments is what has got people uptight, maybe he had a few beers and thought it was funny, then in the cold light of day realised the error of his ways and deleted the comments?

I have been told he is a really nice guy who regrets his comments,no doubt we will all meet him at the open day and we will see for ourselves,as they say actions speak louder than words.

Interesting that someone who told you he's a nice guy Grissles? I've been speaking to someone from Northampton this evening and they said they were not in the least bit surprised about his actions and facebook comments.
As has been said in an earlier post, all about opinions.
