For reasons that make absolute common sense I have no personal comment.

If it does then it is a new meaning to the word investment.
This is all stuff we've heard before, what it doesn't say is how much has been taken out in terms of non-playing staff wages and whether the company declared a dividend to its shareholder.
I'm sure there will be those that say it is nothing to do with supporters but I wish the owners would give an example of a club at Step 3, which we are supposedly going for this coming season, where this model is working.

For reasons that make absolute common sense to me I refuse to look at the club website.

Thats it lads keep knocking the club
Any chance you might put away your personal prejudices and stop sitting in the corner , thumb in mouth, because you didn't get your way?

Always good to see a united front for the good of the club  , pity it seems to be so far into the distance. Now, where is that telescope at Jodrell Bank?

Who didn't get their way? Do you mean the trust by any chance? Well why don't you just take your thumb out of your a*** and realise that the only vehicle for comments regarding the club, whether positive or negative is this forum! And who provides this platform for you to spout anti trust drivel? Let me take a wild stab in the dark,The Club! No No No,The friends! No No No,The trust,Yes Yes Yes,The Trust provides this forum for all views to be aired, pro trust, anti trust, pro club, anti club, football in the community, contact with schools, contact with youth groups etc etc! To echo the words of Mr Chapman Junior,if you don't like what we have to offer then go elsewhere! So if you feel you would be heard more and by a wider audience by posting on the official club forum then please feel free to do it,i can't wait to read it! What you have to take into account is the fact that you are allowed to slag off the trust on a trust run forum, but if you dare make any comments on the clubs official facebook postings,or the Friends of the Linnets official facebook postings that are even slightly against the grain they are deleted! :ranting:  :ranting:  :ranting:

How very pleasant of you Grissles and there was me thinking the Trust were perfect and would offer a chance of making comments without such rude interventions as yours. At least I  observed the niceties of not swearing. Seems its you who can't take criticism, not just those comments removed by the official club website when they don't suit the management.
Thankfully Jesus Linnet has the good manners to allow other people to make their comments even if he might agree they were  drivel Maybe he could teach you how to behave.

Why is there such animosity between you and the club That was my question You didn't "win " the battle so why not move on or do you intend to hold a grudge for ever?

Not a great addition to the information that was already available in the public domain at Companies House, for those interested the balance sheet at 31.5.11 looked like this:

Fixed Assets          5203
Debtors                 6954
Cash/Bank           15010
Creditors            -17753
Provisions             -1093

Net Assets            8321

Share Capital              1
P&L                       8320
                             8321

Solid enough but no accounting for any investment in the accounts which does beg the question where all this money was shown (not as part of the turnover figure quoted so invested and repaid?).   Costs of £217K also seem pretty high for step 5, although no doubt we will see an improvement in the 11/12 figures as the club didnt have that huge financial drain of running a reserve side to contend with.

no animosity here either.  i also don't remember any battles, and certainly bear no grudges.  just taking an interest in the affairs of the club. especially as a council tax payer who co owns the ground and helps subsidise the club.
these questions would not need asking if reasonable explanations were given before rumour and speculation set in.  a bit more transparency is all that is required.  whats wrong with that  in the big society?
