How can you make this statement about the match when you weren't there. If you had been you would know the admission wasn't a tenner.

Sadly i didn't think today's performance warranted £7 never mind a tenner, most disjointed team i have seen in ages! And none of this old tosh about being a new team, they have been training together but still didn't look like a team! :glum:

WE REALLY DO NEED TO SORT THIS OUT, WE WILL NOT SEE MANY THROUGH THE TURNSTILES IF WE START THE SEASON LIKE THAT, IT WAS ONLY A PRE SEASON FRIENDLY, HOWEVER WE WOULD HAVE BEEN A LOT HAPPIER HAD WE NOT LOST AND CONCEEDED ANOTHER 4 GOALS IN THE PROCESS, 7 IN 2 GAMES NOW, AGAINST LOWER LEAGUE OPPOSITION, WHAT IS THIS TELLING US, A LONG HARD NORTHERN SEASON TO COME!!

I hope people won't get carried away with this result. Don't forget we had players like Dunkley, Yong, Hughes all missing. It's a month till the start of the season it's all a building process to the League start date.
Wisbech had Reed, Reeve, & Lunn Jhonson Missing So???

Don't forget Setch watches the same game, so will know what is needed plenty of time to get it right before we start. Ok the team might not be challenging for the title but I wouldn't expect us to struggling near the bottom. It took us 2 bites to get out of the UCL I see this next stage as another 2 year plan. Year one as a sighted year 2 promotion.

Not to bothered what the Fenman were missing the clue is in the name of the forum. Good luck to Wisbech in the Thurlow Nunn, I hope they have a decent season, but just looking to take some positives for Lynn from the game.

from Wisbech forum...

No doubt the Lynn forum will be full of excuses about missing players etc.
Well, we had Lunny, Yakka, Reevo and Callum missing too (luckily for Lynn).

Here's the simple truth: Kings Lynn did not win the league (twice) and were only promoted on a technicality due to Long Buckby and their ground failing muster.

Lynn are NOT good enough for step 4 and will struggle. Do I really care? No, apart from the people like Greengrass (and others) on our forum who constantly make remarks about Lynn being better.

Well, Kings Lynn have been well and truly put in their place today, now let's move on.

Not getting carried away by this result with 3 of their goals being down to individual errors, new players to bed in and it is only a pre season friendly etc etc  but..........what really concerned me is that, Wisbech seemed to want it more, they played as a team and seemed fitter than us? Gulliver for one looks as if he needs to shed quite a bit of ballast and I still think we will lack pace in central defence.

Overall - disappointing, to put it mildly.
