Fancy a 2-2 draw for this one...The Shots seem to be picking up a bit.

Aldershot 'picking up a bit' has now seen them record back to back victories to get themselves out of the relegation spots, so we need maximum points to avoid being completely cut adrift

Personally I am hoping for a couple of things this week - 1. that IC can add one (maybe two) loan players to give himself some attacking options and 2. that the crowd get behind the players on Saturday, appreciate that is a chicken and egg situation but I thought the fans were really good for the Wrexham game and, first half at least, the team responded and played well.  Unfortunately two more defeats since then has increased the calls for change (IC, SC, the guy selling the 50/50, any change!!!) which probably means the crowd may well be on edge from the first whistle but now, more than ever, the team need to the fans behind them

Agree re the crowd Tony....unfortunately I have a feeling that it will all come to a head and boil over this Saturday.

That is my fear too, I appreciate people feel passionately about the club but sometimes a bit of perspective is needed.  Personally, I never want to feel the way I did on the terraces twelve years ago today, after that night and the days that followed potentially getting relegated this season really isn't that hard to take.

I remember it well.

My fear is what else relegation may bring with it.  :dontknow:

Maybe some kind of reset button will get triggered and lessons learnt from mistakes made.

Then again........
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Great to read the positive attitude of the local paper.
" Gates continue to dwindle" nonsense and incorrect.
Glad I don't waste my money buying the paper.

Don't shoot the messenger lads There is something "rotten in the state of Denmark"
The stats would likely show the number of home fans is dwindling. We are being propped up by the away fans , in numbers.

Difficult to get a take on where we are with gates when, for example you get different figures for the same game.

So who's set of answers are you taking as gospel re gates.
Southend 2683 good but mostly Southend
Chesterfield 1806 not good enough
Dagenham and Redbridge 859 dreadful
Wealdstone 885 awful
Barnet 1007 rubbish
Solihull Moors 1009 not good enough
Peterborough Sports, local + Gash and Fryatt 1013 pathetic
Boreham Wood 1160 dire
Walsall 1934 pathetic
Wrexham 1070 that mysteriously became 1470, shameful.
To me that is dwindling gates because the damage was done announcing the highest admission prices, sponsor boards trebled in price when the sponsors had been told by email no change etc etc.
No i do not believe most of the media, especially Saturdays EDP but the above figures that are mostly during the better weather so far average 1382.6 and the way the team is performing at the moment there is only 1 way that figure is going to go and thats downwards as in dwindling.
