If Tuesday’s injuries to Sam Gaughran, Ryan Fryatt, and Tom Ward weren’t enough - adding to the already sidelined/recovering Matt Castellan, Ryan Hawkins and Conor Marshall - Lynn lost on-loan Shaun McWilliams on Friday evening who was recalled by Northampton Town.
Lynn gave a debut to on-loan Sam Cartwright while Ryan Harnwell stepped up from the reserves to make his debut while Ryan Lennon made his league debut from the bench.
Things were not much better for Dunstable who had lost assistant player-manager Danny Talbot to Chesham United during the week where he takes on a joint managerial role. The Blues were also without the injured Zack Reynolds and illness victim Harry Bean.
Lynn had a bright start and had opportunities to take the lead with Ryan Harwell having two good chances before Alex Street was the first ’keeper called on to make a save, that coming after 15 minutes.
Harnwell, Cartwright, Michael Clunan, Jacek Zielonka, and Toby Hilliard had further chances with Zielonka’s effort forcing a one handed save from visiting ’keeper Jack Smith.
Lynn injuries problems increased with the loss of Jordan Yong just before the hour mark.
Dunstable had the ball in the net through a Josh Oyinsan header with a 11 minutes remaining but it was ruled offside but the destination of the points was decided with five minutes remaining when substitutes James Verney and Jet Esso linked for the latter to score.
