One defender in - another departs
13th - 16th June
Lynn have announced the signing of Kalern Thomas (b. Sep 29, 1993) primarily a right-sided defender but also capable of playing on the left and as a wing-back.
He began his career on the books of Walsall before turning out for Quorn and then a month with Loughborough Dynamo before joining Corby Town in September 2013 where he stayed until June 2016 when he joined Boston United.
At Corby he helped them win the Southern League in 2014-15 but was still there when they were relegated at the end of the 2015-16 season.
He made 34 appearances for the Pilgrims scoring once. He moved onto Solihull Moors in May 2017 where he made six appearances before leaving by mutual consent and joining Kettering Town in December 2017 and went on to make 22 appearances, one notable one being at The Walks where he was sent off for a late tackle on Michael Gash in Lynn's 2-1 win.

Leaving the club, however, is Tom Ward. Ward joined he Linnets in December 2016 from St Neots and went on to make 62 appearances (54 starts) scoring six goals.
In announcing his departure, the club states that Ward had been invited back for pre-season but declined the offer.
