Lynn sign Lowestoft defender

Lynn have announced the signing of 28 year old defender Rory McAuley on a two-year deal.
The Blackpool born defender was with Norwich City's Academy, leaving them at the age of 14 to join Cambridge City for two years before moving on to Cambridge United's Centre of Excellence in the summer of 2006 breaking into the U's first team in September 2008.
He had spells on loan with Chelmsford City and Dartford, moving to the latter in a permanent basis in the summer of 2014 having made 145 appearances for the U's.
He made 52 appearances for Dartford, scoring three goals in the 2014-15 season and then moved on to Chelmsford City, scoring once in 51 appearances.
He joined Lowestoft Town, newly relegated to the Ryman League, in June 2016.
He made 81 appearances for the Trawlerboys scoring six goals.
His departure from Lowestoft, by mutual consent, was announced on 3rd July. His departure from Lowestoft was described by one fan on their forum as a "huge loss".
