At the beginning of the year Lynn were in third place in the league some fifteen points behind Stourbridge but with three games in hand.
Following Lynn's demolition of Halesowen on Saturday the gap between the two sides, now leve in terms of games played, is just two points with the Glassboys having what's look to be the harder run in to the end of the season.
Halesowen offered little resistance against Lynn and never looked like a team fighting relegation but one already resigned to it.
Lynn, with an unchanged starting line-up, were two up on thirteen minutes. Adam Marriott put Lynn ahead on nine minutes with a 20-yard right-foot shot into the top corner and added a second from the penalty spot after Enock Ekongo had bundled into Chris Henderson.
Further chances fell to Lynn as the half progressed. Visiting 'keeper Daniel Platt did well to deny Henderson following a corner and Marriott hit the woodword in the 20th minute with a fierce shot from an acute angle. Michael Clunan had a long range shot that went wide and Ryan Fryatt headed against the bar from a Frazer Blake-Tracy corner and Marriott headed over just before the break.
Most of the scares for Lynn were of their own making with Alex Street twice slipping on a pitch that had been watered that morning.
Aaron Birch had the only first half chance for the visitors worth mentioning on 37 minutes and this went well wide.

Any thoughts of a Yeltz second half revival ended less than a minute after the restart with a Henderson/Marriott one-two ending with Henderson slotting home from just inside the area.
The remainder of the half had more of a pre-season feel to it. Marriott was denied a hat-trick bt Platt’s legs after getting on the end of superb pass from substitute Ryan Hawkins’ in the 78th minute and Fryatt scooped one wide after a Michael Gash knockdown.
