Lynn made it seven consecutive league games unbeaten while St Ives recorded their ninth league outing without a win, a run which has seen them score just two goals.
With Rory McAuley suspended Lynn were forced into the one change from the team that defeated Alvechurch last Saturday with Craig Parker coming into the starting eleven.
St Ives gave a debut to goalkeeper Martin Conway, a recent signing from Kempston Rovers. St Ives gave a debut to goalkeeper Martin Conway, a recent signing from Kempston Rovers.

St Ives started strongly and gave Lynn few little chance to settle but Lynn had the first chance of note on six minutes, Adam Marriott heading just wide after a Chris Henderson shot had been deflected for a corner.
Ryan Hawkins, who had a good game, caused the visitor's defence problems but Lynn failed to capitalise.
St Ives had plenty of possession but rarely threatened and as the half progressed Lynn began to dominate with Hawkins hitting the side netting and then putting on a cross which evaded everyone.
'Keeper Conway did well to tip a Frazer Blake-Tracy cross-come-shot onto the bar and over.
Just before the break Ryan Fryatt did have the ball in the net but the effort was ruled out for a push in the build-up.
Aaron Jones, feeling the effects of an injury picked up last Saturday, was replaced by Jordan Richards at the break.
Lynn took the lead on 54 minutes with a move that started with Alex Street, the ball moving through to Henderson and Michael Clunan and finding Blake-Tracy whose cross was converted by Parker.
Street made his first save of the game with his feet to deny George Bailey and from the break Hawkins' cross was headed over by Henderson.

Henderson made amends two minutes later heading home Richards' centre.
Further chances fell to Lynn wit Michael Gash and Marriott putting efforts wide and Harry Limb having a couple of efforts on target but easily dealt with.
