Pre-season 2020 (Part Two)
19th September - 26th September

King's Lynn Town 0 Kettering Town 1
Saturday 19th September A late goal from former Lynn favourite Ryan Fryatt settled this pre-season encounter.
An even, goalless first half saw a couple of chances for each side.
Alex Street was the first to be tested with a shot on 13 minutes with Lynn's reply coming five minutes later when Michael Clunan set Simon Power away but the visiting 'keeper was able to block.
Street was again in action on 23 and 29 minutes and Lynn responded with Alex Brown's cross finding Dayle Southwell but his header was well over.
A Ryan Fryatt block stopped Southwell as the half drew to a close.
Lynn were the first to show after the restart, Jamar Loza and Power linking up to supply Southwell but his effort was denied by the legs of the Kettering keeper.
On loan 'keeper Archie Mair was given his first appearance for the club after the break and he was called into action on 54 minutes, punching away a free kick.
Both sides made changes and although Lynn searched for a deciding goal it was the visitors that scored, Fryatt's looping header catching out Mair.

Downham Town 0 King's Lynn Town 5
Tuesday 22nd September
Lynn's latest pre-season outing saw then make the short trip to the Memorial Field, Downham for a game to celebrate the new partnership between the two clubs.
In a game of three, thirty minute sessions Lynn's starting eleven for the first two was:
Mair, Barrows, Fleming, McAuley, Brown, Richards, Carey, Clunan, Kelly, Power, Southwell.
Sam Kelly put Lynn ahead on 15 minutes with Dayle Southwell adding a second from the penalty spot some five minutes into the second session.
A number of substitutions followed with the line-up for the final session being:
Mair, Barrows, Fleming, Smith, Jones, Richards, Carey, Clunan, Kelly, Loza, Hawkins.
Shortly after the restart Ryan Jarvis replaced Jordan Richards. Lynn's third goal came on 72 minutes from Sonny Carey who added his second and Lynn's fourth on 84 minutes with Ross Barrows completing the scoring just before the end.

St Albans City 2 King's Lynn Town 2<
Saturday 26th September
Lynn ended their pre-season campaign with a draw against National South side St Albans City who completed their pre-season undefeated.
Lynn started on the front foot with Dayle Southwell on the end of a good build-up but he cold only find the side netting.
Simon Power then got in a dangerous looking cross but Saints' keeper Michael Johnson cut out the danger.
The home side began to settle with David Noble firing over.
Chances then fell to Lynn with Power shooting wide and then Southwell had a couple of chances to put Lynn ahead seeing one shot blocked and then heading wide from a Jones' cross.
Lynn took the lead on the half-hour when Johnson managed to parry a Southwell shot but the ball fell to Joma Loza to knock home from close range.
The impressive Cameron King had a shot go wide while the home side began to grow into the game as half time approached.
Loza had the first shot on target after the restart and the Aaron Jones saw his free kick tipped onto the roof of the net but an early warning for Lynn came in the shape of a 64th minute corner which saw Shaun Jeffers head over.
Another corner was tipped over by Archie Mair but on 67 minutes Joy Mukena was on hand to stab home from a corner to level the scores.
From the restart Southwell restored the lead for Lynn, getting on the end of a ball over the top and rounding the 'keeper The inevitable flurry of substitutions followed and the Saints drew level on 73 minutes when Solomon Nwabuokei popped up in a crowded area to poke home following a corner.
The final minutes belonged to the home side but Lynn held on.
