Lynn do not like being beside this seaside as they lost for the fourteenth time when visiting Weymouth out of nineteen attempts with just the one win back in 1961.
Lynn engineered their own downfall with a missed penalty and a red card throwing away all they had gained in terms of possession.
Lynn made three changes from the starting eleven that lost on Tuesday with Ryan Jarvis, Adam Marriott and Cameron King coming in for Lamar Loza (suspended), Sam Kelly and Simon Power.
Weymouth made just the one change with Sean Shields coming in for the injured Shamir Mullings.
Lynn dominated the opening stages but failed to get a decent effort on goal despite five corners in the first half. A close range effort from Marriott forcing home 'keeper Jack Bycroft to save was the best Lynn could muster.
Weymouth took a surprise lead on 38 minutes. The Terras had been getting some success on the left side of the field and Ollie Harfield managed to find space to get in a cross which Archie Mair tried to palm away but the ball found Cody Cooke at the back post to score Terra's first competitive goal of the season.
Within six minutes of the restart Lynn deservedly levelled. Michael Clunan, set away by Jarvis, managed to get behind the home defence and crossed for Marriott to score.
The second half drama took space in a matter of sixteen minutes. First Marriott won a penalty only to see his spot kick saved by Bycroft and then at the other end Shields see his strike hit the post.
Five minutes later Rory McAuley was dismissed after a tussle with Brennan Camp and received his second yellow of the game and Lynn made a triple substitution including Ross Barrows who, within minutes of his appearance, tried to block a cross from the right but it was adjudged to have hit his arm and it was Weymouth's turn for a penalty - substitute Tom Whelan sending Mair the wrong way.
