The Linnets negotiated a difficult game and pitch at Stag Meadow to maintain an unbeaten record against non-league opposition which stretches back to August. |
Lynn escaped when Mark Camm played a back pass to Marshall which got stuck in the mud. Marshall made some smart saves to keep the deficit, although Lynn also rained shots in. It was impossible for Lynn to play their natural passing game in the conditions, but they did well to lift themselves in the second half. They had three efforts ruled out for offside. Jack Defty missed an open goal with a header, while Alex Notman was denied in a one-on-one. The Walks outfit won a penalty for handball which was converted by Notman, who sent the home keeper Sam Mazurek the wrong way, on 71 minutes for the visitors to level. Three minutes later Grant Cooper went on one of his charges upfield from defence to hit the winner from inside the Windsor box. |
