Lynn 4 Corby Town 0

THE Linnets were cheered off the field after this scintillating Southern League performance on Wednesday.
Their fans who had heard so much about how well the team play away from home had seen for themselves how the Linnets can turn it on.
Corby were torn apart by some superb football and were never in with a chance. They kept the Linnets out for nearly half an hour before David Clarke fastened on to a poor clearance by Blick and hammered in a rising left-foot volley for his 100th senior goal for the club.

In the 35th minute Corby again paid for a mistake when Walpole tried to clear a corner but only pushed the ball to Brooks who promptly headed down for Rudd to shoot past Walter's right hand.
Move of the match in the 40th minute which did not bring the goal it deserved was inspired by Rudd's 30-yard pass forward to Lindsay who passed inside and Clarke got in a shot which Walters turned away.
Brooks headed in a free kick by substitute Durant in the 76th minute and Rudd turned in a centre by Clarke which Walters turned away.
