Lynn’s title bid was wind-unassisted on Saturday.
The Linnets unsuccessfully battled against the elements, while the two Bath clubs increased their lead at the top of the division.
A poor game saw extremely blustery weather at Mangotsfield’s very open Cossham Street ground.
That and a hard pitch made it difficult to play constructive football.
Both teams were guilty of not playing the right way in the conditions, the ball spending too much time in the air.
The Walks outfit were against the wind and up the slope in the first half.
The Field’s big forward Robbie Claridge had a header saved by Shaun Marshall, in his return to the side, in the eighth minute.
A minute later the dangerous Aaron Cornwall sent a free-kick wide of the mark, with Marshall scrambling to get it.
Lynn’s best chance of the opening period was on the quarter-hour mark.
In a nice move on the left, Louis Blois played a one-two with Jack Defty, and his shot was pushed away for a corner by home goalkeeper Steve Book.
On 28 minutes Chris Lane cut inside and his wind-assisted shot went into Marshall’s midriff.
Five minutes before the break Greg Crane’s header from a Blois free-kick was cleared, and Sam McMahon headed over the bar.
In the second half with the elements in their favour, Lynn took up the running. Early on Defty had a good run, but shot wide.
The closest the visitors got was a Matt Nolan header from a corner, after a flick on by Mark Warren, which was cleared off the line by Darren Hawkins on 50 minutes.
Deep into stoppage time a foul on Andrew Fisk on the edge of the home box earned a free-kick from Blois, who curled it around the defensive wall, but the ball was held at the keeper’s right-hand post.
