Lynn 2   Salisbury City 2

LINNETS recorded their first league victory for over a month as Lyndon Rowland celebrated his 50th game for the Linnets with the winner.
"I thought we could have played better but I can’t have a go about our effort," said caretaker boss Tony Spearing.
"We needed the three points. We battered Bath and got a point, we didn’t play so well against Salisbury and got three."
As well as the usual round of injuries, Simon Bush was absent with flu.
Much of Lynn’s creativity came from Tommy Wright, but usually when he sent in a cross Lynn were slow to get in the box and were five yards behind the ball.
The Lilywhites had the first chance with Andy Cook’s free kick going-inches over the target. Emeka Nwadike and Dave Robinson had half-chances before Lynn took the lead in the 20th minute.
Jon Palmer played a through ball to the offside-looking Wright, who seemed to have wasted the opportunity when he drifted wide.
But the diminutive winger went down under a challenge from Roger Emms for a harsh penalty which earned the defender a yellow card.

Although away keeper Justin Shuttlewood got a finger tip to the spot-kick diving to his left, Palmer converted his second penalty in successive games.
Simon Dakin missed a gilt-edged chance to make it 2-0, finishing his diagonal run by blazing over from six yards a Dave Puttnam centre.
Salisbury’s Shaun Saunders had the ball in the net after 35 minutes, but his header was ruled out, by the assistant referee for a foul.
The visitors enjoyed a good second half spell and, on 56 minutes, Martin Shepherd mishit a dangerous centre from Tyronne Bowers and Jim Smith hooked the loose ball into the net for the equaliser.
Saunders then hit the base of the post as Salisbury looked more likely to grab the winner.
But top scorer Rowland had the final say with his seventh strike of the season in the 70th minute, nodding in at the far post to finish a goalmouth scramble following a left-sided Wright corner.
More than once Lynn keeper Ben Nower came for a cross. then changed his mind. He was caught in "Nower man’s land" again, but Smith missed an empty net with his lob.
Bowers almost levelled with an outrageously cheeky freekick from just outside the centre circle.
