Adds a bit of spice for the, upcoming fixtures,at Xmas. Be interesting to see what he can achieve there over the coming weeks. Never a dull moment in NLN.

Whilst not a universally held view, I wish IC all the best and as Boston is a local trip so prefer them doing 'not quite as well as us' rather than bombing.  Appreciate neither of his spells at the Walks finished well but the football we played for the majority of his time here at step 3 & step 2 was second to none.  That said he had some flaws (I guess why he was at Lynn and not in the EFL) and his lack of faith in younger players and stubbornness meant his tenure(s) were always likely to end in tears but I personally prefer to think about the good times rather than bad.

We certainly did have the good days to enjoy.  Wouldnt bet against him making a real fist of it at Boston.

I wonder whether his trusted backroom staff of Bastock and Back will make the journey with him ?

Didn't think Robbie Back followed him although Joe Simpson did go to Kettering with him.

Boston United will play the first match under Ian Culverhouse's management when they host to Alfreton Town on Saturday (kick-off 3.00pm).
Culverhouse and his trusted assistants Paul Bastock and Joe Simpson will take charge of the Pilgrims for the first time against Billy Heath's Reds.

Article on IC and his hopes/expectations in today's NLP.  Also an interview with Thetford Towns Chairman on what he sees as the issues facing Clubs going forward.  I guess the MP for the Thetford might have driven this particular story.

The new Ian Culverhouse era at Boston United started with a fine 3-0 win over Buxton with Jordan Crawford scoring twice.
