With Kidderminster's away day demolition job of Farsley yesterday, winning 6-0, The Linnets now find themselves dropping a position and are now occupying the last play off spot.
Lynn now sit in 7th position, a point ahead of Curzon.
However, Curzon have 3 games in hand over The Linnets and also have a superior goal difference (Curzon + 18. Kings Lynn +5).
If Lynn can replicate Saturdays performance a few times they should be OK. It's a tough run in, particularly the home games which are all against in form teams. Very attractive home fixtures which should attract good attendances.
Realistically I would say play off chances are hanging by a thread after the poor run they have had and given how tough the run in looks. When games in hand are taken into account Lynn are something like 4 points off the 7th place. They will probably need to win 6/7 of the remaining 10 to do it. They will certainly need to be positive, both in selection and on the pitch.
If we fall short of the play offs it's still been a vast improvement on last season, in terms of League position. Hopefully Jo and Bal will have seen enough to continue to support it next season. AL will add a few and lose a few, player wise to make us even more competitive.
As for SC next season who knows ? Not sure what he will bring to the party.
