If we can creep into 5th position we will play at home under the lights against 6th in the first playoff eliminator.
P.S..how did the collection go of all that cash ? :countingmoney:
Just about a tankful for the Bently by all accounts.
He was not a Happy Bunny.
And he expected a young girl to go through the Scunthorpe crowd with one of the buckets till one of the older lady staff said NO.
:bankrupt:
I'd forgotten about the bucket 🪣 collection and asked one of the young ladies which charity it was for.
She lifted it up so I could read it. She didn't say anything and looked rather embarrassed.
I declined to contribute to that particular "charity" and was rather annoyed that they used proper charity buckets to collect. Devious springs to mind.
If I could get clarity on the financial finagling, I might have contributed a generous amount, but it's not going to happen. So my money stays where it is.
As for expecting a young lady to go amongst the Scunthorpe supporters and potentially endangering her, why would they want to contribute anything ?
Shame on you Mr Cleeve. Shame on you 😔
Quinn. I got wind of the 'collection' and advised people to keep their money until they could be sure it would benefit the Club.
That is why he slagged me ( and others) off in the programme yesterday.
The man is an absolute spiv and has spent the last few weeks lashing out and being as awkward as he could be. I am not actually sure people would believe some of the stunts he has tried to pull recently.
Better times ahead hopefully.
And the missing 1000 on the gate lol
Officially there were only 1400 from Lynn there :countingmoney:

Kenny R, I didn't see a programme yesterday, but nothing about Cleeve is straightforward, open or honest, which is disappointing and really quite sad.
He's behaving like a two year old bashing his toys against the floor and screaming because he doesn't get his own way.
And quite honestly, every time he vents, be it in the programme, in the press or on social media, he embarrasses not only himself, but the club as a whole.
I suspect a lot of his problems are self inflicted, clearly not recognising when it was time to cut his loses, load up the wagon and head off into the sunset.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate what he's done and will always be grateful to him for giving me my football, but the P45 is under the windscreen wiper of your tank. Mr Cleeve... you're fired !!!
Perhaps you'll let me know if I qualified for a mention in the next programme, Kenny R 🤣😂🤣😂
I actually think he is a sociopath as he has no concern for how his behaviour affects others ( as is perhaps evidenced by his previous history of dodgy business dealings).
He had a pop at Greg Plummer in the same programme notes and Greg was quite upset by it as he doesnt really have any way of getting back at Cleeve.
I saw the opportunity to confront him just after halftime and literally whispered a few rather industrial home truths in his ear.
He is very good at handing out the crap but doesn't like it back.

That's £1000 less in the extra £ kitty, to pay the Government loan back. Win win. :countingmoney:
I must have been one of the few who put a tenner in because I am really.concerned about losing my football club and if money is owed to the Tax man they wouldn't hesitate in winding up the club and what would I do on Saturdays?
Saving the club has no relation to putting a tenner in a random bucket being waved around.Hope you got a receipt!
Collection, what collection? Was there a collection, saw Mark with his tickets, no one else. :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:
Re the collection, Cleeve appealed for £50000 to fund the Club till June and was expecting his 'customers' to each stick a tenner in the 'charity' buckets being carried round by several young girls.
Apparently the name of the charity wasn't clear on the buckets so most people wisely declined to contribute.
He even expected one of the girls to walk through the Scunthorpe section but one of the older ladies on the staff said NO. Quite why he thought the away fans would want to contribute is a mystery.
We can only surmise as the final destination of the tiny amount collected.
I understand the 450k Sport Council loan has now risen to 486k ( interest at 2% added). The money M r Cleeve borrowed and we still ended up getting relegated. Good business call that one SC. What has happened to the £1 on every admission to the ground that he was going 'ringfence' to pay this off? Like we need to even ask.
Reading the programme notes it now seems the owner has various options on the table to take the Club forward. Honestly you just couldn't make it up.
And suddenly the smoke starts to clear.
What else will be revealed for all to see?
Does this mean there are no more talks with the Trust and he intends to carry on himself.
I would love to be a fly on the wall in the counting house after a home game ... :countingmoney: :countingmoney:
SC is willing to offer the Trust a 7% stake in the Club in exchange for 95k of your hard earned. What does that value the Club at ? Around 1.35 mil. The amount of value SC has added to Club deserves a huge pat on the back.
SC is still having negotiations with Jo and Bal but it's not just them who are keen to get their hands on it. Seemingly it's very sort after.
In Jaws they needed a bigger boat. At KLTFC seemingly they need a bigger table. :shark:

Did you hear that from a Trust Board Member Mallard? If not I wouldn't believe a word of it.
It sounds like a valuation from Dragons Den...a club losing money weekly....big debts...and a council owned property is worth1.3 million :laughcry: :laughcry: :laughcry:

Surely you are not suggesting it's Porkies, Rosie ? How very dare you 🫢
Unusually for me... I'm speechless 😶
There's more Porkies than a Van Pelts Hog Roast, at the moment.
There is a lot of cynicism about SC at the moment. some of it possibly justified from people who know more than the Dillathon computer. But, in general, I beg to differ. I think SC has shown more ambition and emptied deeper pockets than almost all previous occupants of the hot seat. One post criticised him throughout, until the last sentence said "I appreciate what he's done", which struck me as inconsistent. The Dillathon 'puter congratulates Al on picking Crane and Hamami in the same team from the start, even though it took him until 3 games from the end to keep our team up their end (pardon the expression) more often than usual. The computer sees the goal difference of 9 as showing a different mindset and selection to the other play-off contenders. Like most on here, I hope we win through the play-offs and get a rather unexpected promotion. Then we'll need a much more professional set-up, particularly financial. Happy Easter to all....
A win would be useful today. I am watching Farsley v Curzon today hoping that Farsley get at least a point. Incidentally, there's a bucket for Farsley donations at the entrance.
See Lynn have an attacking line up today
