Really? Full-time club and players against a team 2 steps lower.
Perhaps time for more experienced blood in the team :nilpoints:
Could we be kidding ourselves and this is the level this club is really at.We had positive vibes around the club at the start of the season but they are now negative vibes going down to the team.My thoughts are that this all started to happened during the managerless period and it's now costing us in results and money.the boos at full time won't go down well with Ian but fans have to show there feelings somehow

Maybe.
That will cost money. Some must be available with three players moving on or going out on loan recently, but will it be enough?
Now that Cully has his feet under the table, I guess the next couple of weeks will show us exactly what direction Turnsport Capital want to take us. There was nothing on the Bench today that would have allowed Cully to make changes and make it happen. That's not his fault.
My money is on at least one, maybe two new players being drafted in during the next fortnight.
I know it's an old one, but at least we can now concentrate on the league.
Where was Williams today, had a sickness bug last week, should have been fit for today, but not even on the bench?
Am I the only one thinking no more distractions, concentrate on the league?
We can't saw sawdust. What's lost is lost.
Move on. I can see a play off spot at the very least with zero distractions

Going for a scan Monday if not favourable could be long term
Think there is a much bigger picture to look at than getting knocked out of the FA Trophy. Some saw this coming. Lots didn't add up.

Armageddon, come Armageddon!
Strange game. We looked better than usual throughout the first half, and comfortably the better side. But - even then they showed they had a lot of speed in their line-up. In the 2nd half, their speed took over. I don't think I've ever seen a more deserved comeback. You could see that they really believed they could turn it around, & made sure they were quicker and more mobile than us to do it. Crane, however was my MotM.....
When did we last lose to a team 2 levels below us? West Auckland?
We sure have a terrible record in the trophy. Fallen at the first hurdle 4 seasons in a row now. The last time that happened we opted to enter the Vase :laughcry:
New blood needed, and ability more important than "experience"....
It was embarrassing to watch the second half and has for taking pens Iam am sure I could have done better it's obvious we need to get a striker in we missed so many chances Will Adam Marriot ever get his scoring boots back on I am not so sure he will.So Ian it's back to the drawing board and get some players in but a good striker is rarer than Rocking Horse Manure

Last time we played at home in the Trophy was November 2022, the gate was declared at 951.
Yesterday it was declared at 751.
21% reduction. That's a lot of money that didn't come through the turnstiles.
Why?
I thought Marriott did look the level required, and I don't blame him for not scoring. I think chances for strikers are few and far between because the lack of creativity in midfield doesn't engineer easier opportunities. Not sure Ian's, or any manager's screaming from the sidelines has any effect at all, because good players know what's needed in changing situations on the pitch...
I'm answer to M A Hill's question regarding Marriott. No, Marriott will never be the prolific scorer he once was. Now that Gyasi has 'left' none of our forwards are much of a threat. We can't judge Toll yet of course, but hopefully he will be brought back so that we can see how he does at this level.
Full credit to Harrow and good luck to them for the rest of their season. 2-0 up at half time at home to a team two levels below and end up losing is disappointing and embarrassing for the players and management. Why didn't IC use any subs to freshen things up.
John, Cully basically said either the players on the bench weren't fit or young kids.
I don't understand why we don't pull Toll and Williams and Van Lier back from loan spells. Can't use a player from the bench makes no sense when we have players like those 3 out on loan.

You have to hope that IC has some irons in the fire in terms of getting two or three in the door otherwise I would agree with you but no point just bring players back from loans for a single game although it could be that one or more might be brought back this week. I took it that Collins was a late injury rather than naming an inured player and if he wasn't 100% then no point risking him and making things worse with how we are at present.
Let's hope he has some kind of budget to bring players in. No matter what it's not a good look. I do wonder if Cully was given the full story before coming back ?

Young kids with a point to prove. IC got it wrong by not using any subs. Harrow are two levels lower, so surely an ideal opportunity to see what the young kids could do against that level of opposition.
I'm sure there will be some incoming before Saturday, but if they're new loan players, what would that say about the ones we've loaned out. We know it will take time to turn things around, but let's stop kidding ourselves that our forwards are good enough, they simply aren't. We are a work in progress and patience is needed. I'm pleased IC is crack and I have faith in his ability to make us a better team.

All comes down to how much money to spend.
With it, possible play offs. Without it, probably relegation.
A few weeks ago someone mention a "managed decline"".
I honestly don't think this should be ruled out as to what's happening.
The players looked very lively in the warm up and the first twenty minutes but then looked worn out. Is the intensity of full time energetic training too much for them;particularly the more " senior" players?

Too much for them,part time players put in a 40+ hour shift in labour intensive jobs up and down the country,still train every week and get a fraction of the money! Players should make every effort to stay fit,teddy Sheringham played top flight into his 40s and probably others do.I also believe that Jackie Gallagher competed in his 60s,I may be corrected on that one? No excuses for lack of fitness,many people play for fun 2 or 3 times a week and work! :banghead; :banghead;
Perhaps those out on loan are seen as not good enough!
Perhaps they have been cup tied.
Perhaps there will be no explanation given.
Perhaps the machinations of the organisation and running KLTFC will never be found. Does anyone know?
Perhaps the game is to keep us all in the dark and hope we keep paying our subs.
It's understandable why the Trust are not handing any cash over.
