Title: Travis Wright Departs
Post by: fenlander on January 07, 2026, 01:32:03 PM
After three years in charge of the club's media, Travis Wright has announced he is leaving King's Lynn Town. He has said on X (formerly Twitter), that, "with the new regime, I felt we could not deliver acceptable standards to the fans."

What has happened to the promise of keeping supporters informed of what is going on at the club? Will the media pair be replaced? And on the football side, does anyone know whether Gyasi and Theo Williams are still Lynn players? The website player pen pics are hopelessly out of date. Still massive room for improvement on keeping us informed and unlikely to get better if the media pair are not replaced.

Didn't  take long did it.  At least The Trust are now on the inside so I'm sure they will be filling in the membership with all that's going on.

Media Team Update 🔵🟡

We're pleased to confirm updates within the club's media team.

➡️ Alex Clare steps up as Media & Brand Manager
➡️ Noah Crowe extends his role as Media Executive

With a new website launching next month and further enhancements to our video output coming, it's an exciting time for the club's media operations.

Maybe it's time that this website and the new Club website became one and the same ?

Erm, no.
Too much work.

It was nice being the official website before the old club folded but technology has moved on.
These days I'm happy with the stats and club history - the latter being more accurate than that on the club website.
"The club's name was later changed to King's Lynn in 1953." where is the evidence?

Pleased to see the club appointing new media men promptly. Perhaps they could tell us where Gyasi and Williams are and update the playing squad on the website. It just looks so unprofessional when players who have moved on are still listed. And this website should definitely remain independent. Well done to admin for keeping it going.

It was reported on the Kidderminster website that Michael Gyasi has health issues.
Theo Williams is currently on loan to Gainsborough Trinity.

Really ? You'd honestly expect the Trust to update its members on the media team ? What next, when the tea lady changes ?  :laughcry:

Don't tell me she has left as well! Anyway why does it have to be a Tea 'lady' Can't you make a decent cuppa ?

I'm sure the Trust will keep members updated on important issues, as and when they arise.

Just a point on Alex Clare and Noah Crowe. Both have been in the media "team" for sometime. Alex you will have seen seen with the camera and Noah is the lad who commentates on the matches. Both very capable, but not new appointments to the "team" as such.

Seems Colin that Gyasi is heading back into training. Still the Clubs leading scorer and we are short of strikers.  Last week we didn't have one available for selection

It's hard to understand why Lynn would allow their leading scorer and, at the time, their best performer leave on loan in the first place. I assume there must have been some issue behind the scenes.Hopefully, Mallard's right and he returns and comes up with some much needed goals.

Good luck to young Wright. Hope he finds a position that suits his talents and he learns from his time at Lynn.  He who pays the piper calls the tune, as they say.

Just seems like some people ( person) just can't let it go.  Not for the first time.

As a long term reader of this forum but a new poster some of the posts on here make no sense. Mallards last post seems to relate to something secret that only he knows and the rest of us have to guess at with regard to Travis. Is to much being made about a young man who for whatever reason has left the Club when as mentioned to me he was very loyal to Cleeve.
