Title: Looking bleak
Post by: Dazzarugby65 on February 28, 2026, 06:32:45 PM
After today's result, things are looking quite serious for KLTFC,teams below us in the table have multiple games in hand and only a few points behind. If we add to this the SPRINKLEGATE affair and possible points deduction, things look very serious.

Add to that, yet again we have a so called supporter ejected from the ground for throwing an object on to the pitch.

The level of abusive language aimed at visiting players, match officials and our own volunteers in the tunnel area, by some of our older fans after games, is an embarrassment to the club and appears to be giving us a reputation that will work against us in hearings and investigations such as "Watergate".

We need people to come and get behind our team, not people that come simply to vent dog's abuse at the opposition, officials and those that give up their time to make sure games can go ahead. In sport, sometimes you lose. COYL.

Attendance published as 997 on Lynn News - didn't hear it announced at the game yesterday - now down a little on last years average of 1113.

We really need to be winning more home games to encourage those fans that only come occasionally to come more often.

Unfathomable!  No Crane... No Williams... No Doherty.... No clue?....  Very poor display yesterday.  Very difficult last 3rd of season.  Fingers crossed we cling on!....

It was grim to watch.

A team devoid of ideas, low on confidence, it really wasn't good - and, it was against Oxford City, not a Fylde, or South Shields, or Kidderminster, but Oxford City.

I was thinking to myself, walking away from the game, that I don't think we feel much of an affinity with this team - a connection between fans and players.
I think back to recent times, when we had Gash, Aaron Jones, Frazer Blake Tracey, Henderson - there seemed to be a two way connection.

That's no slur on the current crop - it's just they don't seem to be around long enough to build a bond.

That chump who threw the drink at the keeper too - hopefully he receives a ban from the ground because as others have said, we're on thin ice with the FA as it is, a points deduction could prove catastrophic.

997 was the attendance and it was announced earlier than usual as the lady who provides the information is moving to pastures new - that's what we were told!!

This season started so promisingly too.......
