For several weeks I've read on this forum and other social media that the new owners wanted the Club to be relegated and lacked ambition. This has all been part of a narrative from certain people who would prefer the Club to fail and are happy to spread misinformation and generally find any reason to be negative to all things Club.
One of the latest being that somehow the Club has not completed work on the ground as required by the league and would be ejected from the league on the 8th March. Well guess what this was just another attempt to undermine the people working everyday to make the Club better and complete garbage.
And today the Club have destroyed the ' managed decline ' theory by signing a new striker with ambition to make a statement that relegation is not in the plan.
People spreading this negative diatribe know who they are but what most people don't understand is what is there agenda ?

Interesting we have signed a player on a multi year deal. Certainly puts out a strong message, going forward.
Geo you mention about works not being completed. What works needed to be carried out? Did this involve the problem of rooting wood etc in the main stand ?

New manager, new assistant, two new players (inc Rooney), young Terry staying to the end of the season, and 4 points from the last six against play off contenders.
