Hopefully Jacek Zielonka will be back. Was he away in Poland for Christmas?

We certainly missed his work rate against Kettering!

I am looking to drive down tomorrow. Does anyone have any advice on good places to park?

From Facebook:
Theres a school car park outside the ground or failing that, park at the railway station and walk over the Overbridge, takes about 3 minutes
( although you will incur a 2.50 parking charge here)
The factory opposite the entrance to the railway station entrance (RECO) has shut down. Space for a quite a few in their front car park  . . . failing that, street parking.

Thanks, that gives me something to play with.

Great away win today for Setch and his team against, what could be described as the Leagues biggest under achievers.

Disappointing to see the Ressies went down to a narrow home defeat.

A well deserved win and can we now build on that momentum? Sounds also as if we missed a hatfull of chances?

Reserves were a little unlucky perhaps? No Jack Frohawk - injured or back with Dereham?

On the subject of missing players what has happened to the Portuguese lad that people involved with The Reserves were raving about a couple of months back ?

Don't know Cary . I had spoken to his dad at the community training before Christmas as his younger brother is there, but he wasn't at the game today  severely missed has so much talent, just give him the ball and let him run at defenders as he scares the hell out of them.

Fantastic, committed performance today. Difficult to pick a man of the match. Both teams going for it but we seemed to play much more as a unit than St Neots. Pitch was pretty decent too considering the heavy rain. We missed a hatful of chances particularly second half when Stevo and Jacek seemed to outpace their defence at will. The goal was scruffy for want of a better word but we deserved every single one of those three points we brought home tonight.

Disgusting behaviour by one or two of their Green Street wannabes at the end of the game, shame a minority have to ruin it.

I saw an incident while leaving. Some numbnut in a fake Burberry cap launched himself at Lynn's boy choir and to their credit they did not retaliate, that was left to a couple of women to barrack the Danny Dyer wanabee.
As for the game, there was balls being pinged in left and right, particularly the left, that someone should have been getting onto. Great effort and great result which will help forget last weeks debacle.

Anyone else see a certain Steve Spriggs in the bar? Hat trick scorer last time we battled St Neots for league points, almost five years ago.

I think the lad in the Burberry cap was trying to fight everyone by the sounds of it, didn't help a couple of other Saints fans telling us they wanted to smash Paul's camera either. St Neots claim on Twitter that the lad in question "is not a St Neots fan" but by 5.15 he was back in the bar minus his cap and seemed to know a good few people in there. A few of their other supporters were embarrassed and apologetic.

Same here. I wasn't exactly full of confidence before the game given how I felt at 4.50 on Boxing Day, but the lads were all excellent and we deserved the victory.

Interesting article published on the Hunts Post site yesterday (although clearly written before Saturday's game) where the new owner speaks very highly of David Batch. I wonder how long he will be backed for as in my opinion the players they have are underachieving massively this season.
