Who would have imagined this 18 months ago? Congratulations to manager, chairman and all the players and backstage staff.whatever happens now, this has been spectacular. It's just a pity that they seem to save their best performances for away games that I can't get to.

:farmer: :oldman" This result in my humble opinion proves that we have really arrived at this level of football, Southport are a well supported and financed football team, with the ability to attract players from the many cities and large towns around the North West of England, we are a medium sized provincial town stuck out on a limb on the East coast of England, but we are some how managing to compete. After today's results Southport are still in 5th place in the league,  so this just undermines my belief we are where we are on merit, with a great fighting team spirit. Well done to all involved today and good luck for the rest of the season. COYL.   :farmer: :oldman"

Amazing where the team is.  Credit to all.  12 months who would have dared even dream of this situation we find ourselves in.

As itís Saturday evening and before Strictly starts I thought I would ask Admin.  When was the last time Kings Lynn were top of a League deemed to be the 2nd tier of Non League Football ?

We briefly topped the Southern League in the days before Conference North / South under Tony Spearing. Ended up getting relegated!

Are we safe from relegation yet?
First priority!
Could not have dreamed we'd be where we are. I thought we'd be okay, with the squad of players we have, but where we are is incredible.

Who would have thought we would ever be this close to playing the likes of Yeovil, Chesterfield, Halifax, Stockport, Dagenham, Wrexham (that should be a good one), Hartlepool, Aldershot, Notts County, Torquay. All ex League Clubs.

Add Barnet and Yeovil to that mix.   Incredible to think where we are.  Of course it could fall apart but in Culverhouse we have one, if not thee top manager in this League. No reason to think we cannot repeat in the 2nd half of the season what has been achieved in the first half.  This really doesnít look any flash in the pan.

Ok, we are going to get the feet firmly on the ground, one game at a time, punching well above our weight.  Fact is we are where we are totally on merit.

and what about the teams that could be down from division 2 might even have Salford there; but there is still the second half to go and that double pointer against York and Chester; not to mention our neighbours down the a17/a16.never know perhaps even buster might joins us yet :cup2: :welcome: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:  :comeon: :comeon: :comeon:

Phenomenal result away yet again to a major contender in the league👏🏻👏🏻  Credit to the chairman & all his staff... ⚽️⚽️🔥🔥

You have to give enormous praise to the chairman for his vision, ambition and deep pockets. Whether the town of King's Lynn entirely shares that ambition remains to be seen. It will clearly need a collective effort to maintain this momentum but that National League North table on the BBC website is currently a thing of beauty.

Oh yes Stan.  He sure deserves the plaudits. The guy has to take the 541t storm when things go wrong, so 100% he should receive the highest praise for supporting the Manager and giving him the Ďtoolsí to do the job.

We are living the dream at the moment and for sure it could all go wrong but have to think it would have to go very badly wrong not to make the play-offs ( top 2nd-7th Admin?) now.

Just hope more and more of the floating supporters jump onboard with it now.  Least in years to come they can say Ďthey were thereí.  Itís not just the winning of games itís the style in which we are playing.  Reading other Clubs forums many ( if not all) consider us to be the best footballing side they have seen this season.

Getting Culverhouse in the first place was brilliant but going and getting him back after he left, even better.

What a brilliant, brilliant effort, by the whole club.
Fully agree with your post Stan. Would also like to add the words passion and resolve to the mix. Keep going SC, the town of King's Lynn needs something really positive to get behind and whilst it can seem incredibly hard work to energise the place, I sense that just like a big long ship in the Ouse, momentum in the town is finally starting to twitch and turn more in your and the club's favour.
Just a  very polite word to any so called "stay-away" fans.
Guys, reflect a moment, this is possibly the best footballing team ever seen at The Walks.......and you are the ones missing out. Please come and see for yourselves.

Right again Stan.  Letís not forget the massive role Backie and Neil played in steadying the ship and keeping all players onboard, not to mention the massive signings of both Marriott and Hendo.

Great decision by the Chairman to empower them to do that.

Superb effort by all....Chairman, Manager, squad, and all volunteers, committee members etc...  Now itís up to the people of this town.  We can only keep this up, even satisfy SCís stated ambition when he joined the club, if those in the town AND SURROUNDING AREA who enjoy this great sport really want it, and are willing to come to games to support this club.  To them, as all regulars would agree, youíre not being asked to make a sacrifice, you are being invited to witness probably the highest sporting entertainment yet seen in this town......

I'm loving the positiveness being shown on here, and the "rallying of the troops", but is it to any avail? If people are reading it on here it's like preaching to the converted, we somehow need to get the message out to the general public who are not members of this forum

In addition to word of mouth, maybe volunteers who live in the town could ask to put up posters in local shops and do
some leaflet drops to homes, varying the area each week.
Does the club maximise the local media....as far as I am aware, coverage in local papers is very good, bbc local radio gives reasonable exposure, does KLFM give regular "plugs' ?
Pyramidal marketing theory tends to suggest though that the best way to increase your client numbers is by focusing the majority of your energies on those who already come and like your product....they will naturally tell friends, who trust their judgement and from there things can snowball....so it is vital that everyone on here spreads the word to family and friends and work colleagues. Just think how many people each of you meet each week, who aren't currently attending matches. Multiply that by the few hundred on here regularly and suddenly attendances jump
The newcomers enjoy the experience and tell their friends and family and so on........ it's the first bit that takes the most effort, so come on guys spread the word.

Would it be worth advertising now for the Boxing Day game at home to Boston? A lot of people may be making plans already for the festive period. I know itís a month away but maybe lowering the price of admission as a one off? If itís seen as a Christmas gift/ gesture then it may draw in people who may not have considered it before? Only an idea but something like that could give an idea of a community club

Or keep admission the same but offer free mulled wine (in a paper cup of course) or a free mince pie.
