Title: FA Cup Boston Utd
Post by: Mallard on December 02, 2019, 07:27:32 PM
Newcastle at home for Boston if they beat Rochdale in the York Street replay.   What an occasion that would be, not to mention a money spinner.

AFC Fylde ( who knocked out Nantwich) go to Sheff Utd.  Decent pay day that one.

Think the Newcastle game ( if they win the replay). Will follow the Our New Years Day trip to Boston.  What a send off for the old York Street ground that would be.

"Boston United

FA CUP: If the Pilgrims can overcome Rochdale in the second round replay, they will play host to Premier League giants Newcastle United in round three - over the weekend of January 3 to 6."

So our visit on New Year's Day could be postponed?

Probably not. Newcastle are playing Leicester City on New Years day, so I think it's just that some of the 3rd round games will have a short turnaround from the preceding game.

36k guaranteed from the replay because it'll be on TV. They go through they'll have a decent pot of money to go for the league next season (or even this season depending what they're like come mid January).
