Scored the winner in last nights game away to top of the table Solihull.
-
Scored the winner yesterday and was MOM in a 1-0 away win. All hypothetical I know but I just wonder if we had managed to keep George whether he and his goals would have lifted us into that hoped for play off position?
-
I think without any doubt at all Rod. 20+ goals in half a season last year and our biggest problem since has been scoring enough goals to kill teams off. He would definitely have been worth extra points to us this season.
-
Scored 2 today in win at Corby.
-
Scored twice today including a brilliant free kick.

3 in 2 games, plays behind 1 striker. hope they go up for his sake, one of our better players in recent years.

He picked up an injury in the Chorley game - been out for a bit. He's scored lots of goals for FC and gets very positive reviews.

Does moving on mean that you are not allowed to look back and reflect?

Looks like he may be in the move as has left FC
-
If he is sold on for a fee surely that will entitle us to a % of it. If not when he moved to Chester, if we did not insist on a sell on clause..well would not just say everything about the running of the club?

Average gate of 896 and that was a 30% increase on the previous season, yet full time...Must have some serious money behind them or be an incredibly well run club - or both!
Looks as if Georgie boy may have run down his contract but if we did not include some form of sell on clause when he left us for Chester we were / are crazy.
I think he has the ability to at least get back to National Conference level, or above.
-
Must be a lot of money in spa water. Am I right in thinking there is a spring in Reffley Woods?
-
.......Or perhaps more in keeping would be to replicate Del Boy's 'Peckham Water'...Unadulterated and straight from its source - the tap!
-
