Anyone expecting any other result today must be living in cloud cuckoo land. Give credit where credit is due, we tried and can only use the the players we have. Do you really expect better results against the top echelon clubs of the league, no, of course not. Hopefully we can against the lower based clubs in future fixtures. Support the club and still hope some reward for the reminder of the season, not keep finding fault and undermining what good people in the Club are trying to achieve. Stop being so critical, it doesn’t help management or players.

I’ll second that ,we all no what’s wrong as me so does Tommy but it’s not that easy to get a decent forward to come here
-
A decent striker wouldn’t have stopped us shipping 3 goals yesterday. People seem to have this idea that one striker would turn our season.
-
How can anyone feasibly expect a top striker to want to move to a flatshare for 400 a week in the sticks, single handedly overcome a 14 point gap and save the season?
-
I think people expect miracles. Boreham wood result in my opinion pretty much draws the curtains on our season. Not being pessimistic but more realistic. I think people blaming is Tommy is a little uncalled for. What do you expect him to do with shower of crap inherited? Yes we can all see we need a goalscorer but again a goalscorer doesn't stop us shipping goals in. We need to shift the deadwood from the squad but that in its self is not a easy task. I don't think any step 2 or possibly even step 3 club would want them. The other option is is pay them out of their contracts which then leaves the club in a bigger financial state than it already is.
The position the club finds it self in coupled with our location no top striker is really going to want to come here without coming for bug bucks in my opinion. I honestly dont know what the solution could be all i know is its going to be a long rest of the season if we carry on the way we are going. UTFL

Sending some of the loaners would be a start to reducing costs. Can see how foolhardy it was to give anything beyond 12 month contracts to any player last summer.
-
So who is on a 2 year contract.
-
From the top of my head i think Golds on a definite 2 year contract, i believe Paul Jones is also.
-
Barrett two year deal in Oct 2021 is another.

Probably the only one that's worth a two year deal in current circumstances.
-
Altintop and Charles are two more
-
I have to agree in regards of Barrett. I think he is going to be a real star for us (when fully fit). Altintop we havent seen anything of at all and i think hes contracted until 2023.
Then you have the situation with King. Is he at any point coming back? I know very little has been said about his situation which if i remember correctly is health related.
I think we are missing Jordan Richards in midfield i honestly believe we wouldn't be shipping so many goals in if we had him and a jarvis type character in front of the back 3/4

Barrett. Then Altintop and Charles are two more
3 of the Owner's speculative signings.
Possibly Barrett's current record indicates that he may not be in peak saleable condition inside the duration of his contract.
So far, the others have not showed at the required level. Yet, if the players are capable, they need a coach with the ability to develop them for the Owner to 'turn a profit'.
-
I thought we have A graded coaches. Trouble with football contracts is players are paid for failing
-
What we need is to try another tack.
Bring back Henry Eze and put him up front, cause he didnt know what he was doing so how caould the opposition know?
We could always have the managers other son Kia, he could dance around them a bit and cause all sorts of confusion.

Huge month ahead of us in February - 5 vital home games. Everyone seems to have forgotten that since Tommy’s arrival we have only played twice at home in the league (since dec 11) - we can turn it around but we need to do it together - will be looking at as a club what we can do.
We have played the top 5 teams away from home - forget the gap, if we get 12 points in Feb and then we get just 6 in March we will be on 29 and have it all to play for. I think we can do it.

Ever the optimist B&G and I hope you are right But given we have 7 points from the last 48 sounds like a tall order !

Linnet.
The above was taken from Cleeves Twitter post. His words not mine. I just copied and pasted them.
As you said, tall order.

Quote" If we can get 12 points in Feb! Well we have got 11 points in all the games we have played so far. Think we would be lucky to get 12 extra points for the rest of the year. Hopefully, I'm wrong. Win a couple of games and you get more confidence and maybe win a few more. We need to score more goals and not concede too many..Can we do it?, I'm not so sure.

Where's Neil Fryatt these days?

Enjoying life away from KLTFC along with so many others.
-
Surely it’s not the Club they have fallen out of love with Gordon ?
-
Definitely not. You know what the real answer is without me having to spell it out.
More official outgoings in the very near future, and i don't mean players.

Can’t be many left to actually leave
-
I doubt we’ll even notice if people leave apart from Zoe
Yes we will

I hope it’s not anyone from the Commercial Dept or the Chippy who built the ‘table’

...are the lights still on??

I’m surprised Norman is still there with what was reported a few weeks ago.

Me to. Norman is an absolute diamond in respect of what he has given to KLTFC, for the little thanks that he has ever received from his Lordship. Haven't heard anything lately about the lady (from Chesterfield FC?) who took over Normans job except on matchday. Obviously at great expense compared to Normans voluntary status.

Quality doesn’t come cheap

Has anyone ever met her?

I do wonder if she has an Aunty called Doris ?
