Not quite a fans forum but the opportunity to have your question put to TW at tomorrow's press conference

:oldman" :farmer: Apart from your son, how many more players would you like to retain for next season, should you still be the manager?

Cheap shots at Culverhouse there.  That after all the reflective glory Cleeve had on the back of IC’s success.

As for crowd figure not being enough to sustain any club at this level, well maybe that’s telling you something Mr Chairman.

Now he is asking for outside investment, will he need to invest in a bigger table for all the offers that are bound to flow in.

I can't see that IC would bother to reply to such comments, but maybe Backie would like to?

He had the ear of both the Manager and the Chairman and I would think would know the truth behind the comments.

Gates not high enough? I really don't think they will be under current regime, unless bucket loads of cash is chucked at it again in an attempt to buy success.

Yet again SC finding a way to have an argument in an empty room.  Unfortunately his articles continue to be littered with half truths that just harden the views for or against his way of running the club - I think he is probably right re Joe Taylor as we could all see IC wasn't great at giving younger players their chance if he could find a more experienced alternative and he is right that current attendances can't support NL but equally he then talks about the budget being higher than he would like but hasn't decided if we should be part-time next year and also probably the most outlandish claim within the article, that the club is an attractive proposition to a potential investor.

I don't envy the new commercial manager, if he can even find someone to take it on, as they will be walking into an impossible situation with far, far too many bridges having been burnt with businesses that were open to working with the club and an owner who still doesn't understand why he hasn't got full perimeter boards this season and that there should be a queue of people just lining up to donate money to the club.

Half truths Tony or no truth in some cases.  Easy to throw out manure when the main recipient has no recourse to come back.   Again in the EDP allowing all this to to print without checking any of facts.

The Taylor situation.  Ask yourself how come he left the club for free with no fee needing to be paid.  It seems admin is not the clubs forte.

Not a lot of hope for the future then.   :dontknow:

Just chucking this out there. Im just wondering, with all the flack that SC gets; in the past history is there a chairman who could have done better. Who could have handled the club better, pumped  more money into it. Took it to where it is today. I dont have enough local  knowledge to know this, but it seems that he gets criticism whatever he says or does. I dont know what fans expect from a little o'l Norfolk club. We are on  the road map of England on the the road to nowhere, Motorways...nil, rail to London, as and when. Who in their right mind would move to Lynn when there are numerous other clubs with much better travel links to London, Manchester etc. I live near Setchells Bedford, can be in London in half an hour. Who would you choose if you had family in the smoke.Give SC a break hes doing his best. N B Taylor on bench for Peterborough again today. See the comments on the main page has been disabled. Cricket score today I’m afraid.

Blue and Gold
Would love to come out say something but I love this Football club and don't want to drag it through the mud and get into a slanging match, but it's difficult to keep quiet when it's all one way.
Should just let it go and move on and stop the snide remarks
The EDP giving only one side. Mistakes was made and we would all admit that but a lot of untruths being told.
All the best everyone
I do miss it but not the grief !!!
Ps not won in 9 that's not our fault ;)

Thanks Backie.

I know quite a few people are surprised that the Edp allow their paper to be used in this manner, although I think many will take it all with a pinch of salt anyway.

Posh Chairman has apparently described him as the new Craig Machial Smith.

He left Posh for 2.5 million!

Add a few quid on that for inflation.  CMS left Posh for Brighton a good few years back.  Seemed to recall he turned Norwich down to join the Seagulls.
