Thanks for the info Tony. You've kind of proven my point. Apart from Tonbridge and Methyr, the other clubs mentioned are all ex league clubs with a far superior fan base than KL will ever have .

Both in a ideal world. The two go hand in hand . Without players, you don't have a team . The trust model is fantastic in a hot bed of football ie the north west and north east . Unfortunately in Norfolk it will never work . I'm not interested in KL playing 2 steps below . Like most on here I'll be gone in 20 years so I say let's live for the moment.

The word around Chorley manager Preece when he was strongly linked with the club was that he wanted to bring 3 experienced players to the club to help the younger players. This was denied him, hence he didn't come . Why would you refuse him then go and give IC the funds .

Quote from: Mallard on December 07, 2025, 12:37:55 PMThanks for tidying that up Tony.

One of the things I don't get  is the striker situation. Ok we can't push the young ones to hard so need experience mixed in with them.  Gyasi ticks that box and scores goals yet we have farmed in off to Kiddie.  This one has never been explained away by the Club or even been asked about in any interview.

Think the Club needs to let the fans in on this big mystery.

One other little point from the Forum the other night.  Cully said basically we can't afford to turn part time players into full time as the cost is very prohibitive.  If you take a player like Clunan then are his days numbered at the Club as it must have been very expensive to lure him away from his profession.
I think it all depends on an individual's circumstances . I work with people who rely on the money to support their family and others who work for holidays weekends away etc

As a supporter for 55 years , personally I've got no interest in meeting old or new players. B+G as an avid fan with obvious interest in the club, how could you not know Robbie Back ?

The Garden is rosy. Great performance on the pitch. The takeover completed and the trust have a foot in the door. We can't ask for anymore. Happy times ahead  :cup2:

IC 50K PB 30K JS 30/40K Rough estimates admittedly but still a lot of money to shell out when we're on the brink

Great point away in the north east. Nice to see Gold on the scoresheet. Onwards and upwards  :cup2:

Excellent start to Cully's third spell in charge. Hopefully go on a run and slowly build up some momentum. Well done to all .

On a serious note Marcus . I'm sure Salford had a massive effect on player recruitment.

Decent start. Clean sheet . Good point. Even better if we win on Tuesday. Cully  on a winner . If we win he's great ... lose it's not his team . Time will tell ...

Fc Utd looked all set for a while until the Class of 92 came along and blew them out of the water Marcus  :laughcry:
