i See farsley's next 5 league games are all away as well so they should have 8 at home in a row as well lucky they can afford it with no home game income

i expect the reason its £10 is that there are several Clubs round that way Matlock , Belper and Buxton who are roughly the same standard so they compete for the same supporters.

Great shame to see them go - i remember beating them to the league title and there centre forward Ryan robins happy days. As has been said several more clubs will go under due to finances

What's happened has happened we can't change it - if we lose to chorley on Tuesday and Peterbourgh sports and Rushall both win we go down 2 places then there will be even more moaning and groaning. lets hope we win and that should make us safe then reset for next season

They have two decent joint managers in Luke Steele and Michael Gash who both still play when needed and they attract the right sort of players who seem to fit in well with players all ready there. they also have a decent catchment area to pick from so they most probably don't have to pay over the odds to players. they also have a decent
ground and set up assume that's due to there commercial side . been there a few times and i thought the facilites were good, they don't charge over the odds so people spend. 9
General Discussion / Re: Saturday v Farsley« on: February 23, 2024, 08:12:36 AM »
i know its a different sport but watched the rugby league on tv last night. before the game the pitch looked immaculate didn't take long for it to look like a ploughed field
even the commentator said that will take some time to get the pitch sorted out now. our pitch isn't great after a little rain let alone the monsoon we are having i know the club need the entrance money but i can imagine a lot would need to spent on putting the pitch right if we play. 10
