Boston would get called off if someone sneezed on their pitch.   Get Thursday out of the way, and the forecast is saying maybe a shower Friday, and bright sunshine all day Saturday.  I will take a 1-1. And it would not surprise me if the crowd was around 3000.

They could do with him back at Boston Utd, they can not hit a barn door.

Westlynn Mike, do you arrive late for  games? Steve Granger was doing the bucket collection just inside the main turnstiles on Boxing day, in fact I almost fell over him, and the 50/50 tote was on sale at the Spennymoor game, he was just before the programme seller.  As he was on boxing day also.

Well I continue to be amazed by the best team Lynn have had for many years, if ever a football coach needed to learn how to stage manage a game he should have been at York Street yesterday, once we scored it seemed like game over. In some respects it was if Lynn were the home team, Boston huffed and puffed up to the final third then ran out of ideas.  The Lynn fans were great, as always when travelling in large numbers, There was over 1800 Boston fans, never heard them!  My man of the match ,Henderson, he was like a hungry dog, looking for food. Ross Barrows I think should stay a central defender. He was a close second, but all in all a great team performance.
Roll on Saturday, another top 6 team at the Walks.

Well its going to be the highlight of my Christmas, I'm going for a Lynn win 2-1, and a healthy 3000+.   Marriot and Kelly, (if fit).

Not sure if I can make New Years Day, who is doing the collection for the pitch. Trust or FOTL?  Will they take a cheque, or Bacs payment, payable to who?

I think Mick held the record for most appearances for 1 club , after we signed him from Northampton, well over 1000 games for Lynn, old fashioned inside forward, or half back. Top player. Very nice bloke. R.I.P Mick.

Please see my former post about the 3rd of the pitch in the shadow of the main stand this time of the year. It will not dry out until March, frosts will not thaw like the rest of the pitch. I offered a 3 figure donation to help to pay for a cover of some type, greeted with a stony  silence from all fronts. The money is out there, and I am not talking about SC paying out again.

General Discussion / Re: Looking good.

Its strange that we all have different opinions on todays game, I suppose it depends on where we sit/stand etc. Mallards review on Gash is different to mine, I thought he was off the pace today from the 1st minute, ok the pitch was heavy but for some reason in the last couple of months he thinks he can dribble past every defender, well he does not have the speed to do that, also he is getting caught offside even more than Marriot, now that is an achievement. Its not just my opinion, its many in the main stand. I would like to see Hawkins more upfront, defenders do not like players with real pace running at them, Hawkins has the lot, a game changer.  No Kelly today, anyone know why, or have I missed something?
