and a little bit tactless of Mr Cleeve to take to Twitter to say how well one of his investments is doing.

I wonder what Chorley received.

I remember when he advertised the manager's post after Culverhouse left he emphasised that fact that there was no Board to delay decision making.

To quote the KHIST website:
"KHIST 2020 LOTTERY – launched November 2010 – The lottery has now raised over £100,000 for the club, whilst delivering out large cash and other prizes each month to those who take part"

In fairness to SC he is very unlikely to quote parts that do not fit his argument.  I mean who would do that.
Someone who is more interested in scoring cheap political points in order to cause trouble rather than presenting a fair picture.

The KHIST were raising funds for the club. Basically it was just another dig at the Trust but there was no mention that KHIST were shareholders . This was before the Ground Development Fund was started.

I believe in his past programme notes Stephen Cleeve has praised the work of Kidderminster Harriers Independent Supporters' Trust although he didn't seem to mention that they have two members on the KHFC board.

Interesting comment on the Havant & Waterlooville website
"If a null and void season is the decision, then all the games will no longer be on the record. Clubs may then need to decide how they handle goal bonuses, clean sheet bonuses already paid for games that cease to exist. This could result in legal argument."

Would a club really want to claim back bonuses?

Doesn't it also have to be ratified by the FA Council and we already know they prefer null and void over PPG?

Interesting to read Stephen Cleeves's comparison of possible football season conclusions with the decision to not null and void school exams but take into account performance during the year.
Unfortunately there is also a football comparison, if a match is abandoned it is replayed!

It will be interesting to see what happens if National League clubs prefer one way of ending the current season and the EFL choose another. Will loyalty to member clubs take priority over National League ambitions?

The National League sees itself as an extension of the EFL so will do whatever actions are decided by the leagues above and won't give a thought to individual situations or clubs at Step 3 and below.

Hereford have played 35
Spennymooor have played 18 homes games so Home/Away ppg times 18  to bring everyone to 36

There is no ideal way of dong this.  If we must use PPG and a carry-over to next season then, as some clubs have played more home than away games and vice-versa, you could take the average home PPG and the average away PPG and multiply each by 21 to get an end of season total to be carried forward to next season, but then there would still be some clubs complaining that it was unfair as some of their remaining matches were against lower/higher opposition and therefore their PPG would have improved/diminished had the season continued.
Also, to how many decimal places will PPG be calculated, could promotion be won on one hundredth of a point or should we argue about the merits of rounding?

Nice idea but who would say what fixtures had to be played in order to catch up.
Assuming the target is 36 games, as Hereford have  already played 35, we would have to play one home and two away, but which ones?

General Discussion / Re: CLUB STATEMENT + NEW JustGiving Donation Page
« on: March 28, 2020, 08:10:48 PM »
Stephen Cleeve wanted donations, loans are all very well but he has  to pay them back!
The aims of the Trust are to "to purchase a stakeholding in the club" not be sole owner.
No, I don't think the Trust could not leap in and save the club but as part of a consortium  they might achieve something, although I doubt if any consortium would want to put in the kind of money Stephen Cleeve appears to doing.
