General Discussion / Re: Did We Play Last Night

That was not what I meant KES80.
What was meant was that because there had been no comments on the result that a draw against the 2nd place team was obviously felt not worthy of comment by usual posters but continuous comments regarding substitutes is.

Looking at the lack of interest of last nights result it makes me wonder what IC and the players have to do to get some credit from the posters on this site.
Narrowly lose to Sutton ( league leaders ) followed by a draw against Hartlepool (2nd in league ) is obviously not good enough under the circumstances.
Paragraph after paragraph is written about substitutes but when the team does well not a word.  :comeon:

Fantastic result tonight with all involved putting in a great shift.
Only blemish is both centre halves being substituted presumably injured.

I think today showed that with Jones back and Barrows moving to the left instead of Brown that we were far more solid in defence than we had been for several games.
Brown looks good going forward but is a bit lightweight defensively.
Terrific result, especially being the first team to stop them scoring so far this season.
A home goal would have been the icing on the cake.  :scarf

Sad to see today's match was to be his last behind the camera, he's done a terrific job in covering the games over the last couple of seasons.

With all the discussion surrounding future fixtures regarding ground capacity it seems that Saturdays game has been completely overlooked.
I would like to see the same system as we used at Barnet where we set out not to concede and hope to get a goal on the break or take the game to penalties.

If you have not read it look at the SC report In the EDP today with regard to the new set up reference training.
It seems this is taking us to a new level and only a step away from Full Time.
Let's hope it brings about an improvement in form.

What a shame that a perfectly honest post has been hijacked into a debate about whether volunteers pay an entrance fee or not.
Of the 31 replies to my post not one deals with matter concerned.
I was highlighting the recent appointment of a Head of Performance Analysis (Matt Loades ) and Sports Science Analysis ( Ben Alger ) to the Backroom Staff and how this was strengthening the club and wondering whether they are employed by the club or doing it as part of for instance a Sports Degree or Masters Degree.
If you want to carry on your petty squabbles then start up your own post and not hijack others.  :scarf:

With another person announced today we are certainly building a strong/large off the field team
Does anyone know if the additons from last season are employed by the club or are they doing their work voluntarily as part of a course.

Thanks Mac, just read it and it is a fitting tribute to Neil and his input into KLFC.

Really interesting list of coaches with lots of experience in various roles to bring young players through. Future of the club below 1st X1 looks in good hands and onwards and upwards.

Seems very strange that neither Greg P or Mark H have made any mention of this on Club Twitter account.
The least Neil should receive is thanks from all connected to the club.

Seems according to Backie Twitter message that Neil is taking a break, he's done a great job for Lynn in many positions over the last few years and for that I offer my thanks.
I wonder where this will leave the reserves ?
