Great result.........but, what a poor game of football it was!!

Credit to Needham for achieving what they have, but the set up isn't really for this level of football.

The crowd - I think there were more Lynn fans than Needham fans there today.

But, football is a results business regardless of the performance - 4 more scrappy 1-0 wins and we're in the National League and I think we'd have all taken that scenario at the start of the season

It wasn't the fact it was hard to buy, I just thought it was a palava having to register on their website to buy a ticket, knowing I'll probably never use their website ever again!!

What I thought would have happened is Needham give Lynn an allocation and we buy them from our own website

What a palava

Create an account just to buy one ticket

Anyone bought theirs yet from Needham's website??

To be fair, Radcliffe played very well in the first half, I thought they were one of the better teams I'd seen at The Walks this season and I thought their position on the league was false.

Don't want to criticise players but I do think their goal was soft and Jones could and should have done better

We looked devoid of ideas

Finally, I'm not sure I agree with the booing, but as paying fans/customers, we are entitled to our opinions.
I'm not a fan of happy clappers who defend the team regardless in a blind loyalty manner - sometimes you have to just call a spade a digging implement

Onwards and upwards.......but it wasn't great today

A fine performance all round, by everyone.

Cody Johnson looks a coup, Tommy Hughes is a real tidy footballer, who as Adam Lakeland said in his interview, with a full pre-season behind him should reap the rewards.

But they all played well and could have had more goals today.

Which brings me onto my one gripe - and again, the boss wasn't happy either - that stupid penalty by Gold.......I can't swaer on this forum, so lets just say it was rubbish........really rubbish, including a rubbish run up.

By all means try that when we're 4-0 up, don't try it  when there's only one goal in it!!
Again, as Lakeland said, that miss then affected him a few minutes later when he had a one on one with the keeper and he fluffed his lines.
But, he'll get 20 plus goals this season, so I shouldn't be too harsh.

One other "gripe" - why weren't the away fans in the corner??
I didn't like them having the whole end behind the goal

"Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard"

A message emblazoned on walls at Manchester City, but surely applies to all levels of football

I've just completed the survey and as already said, some interesting questions.

I think the point of wanting success as mentioned on here is a valid statement.

I also think that when you are a fan of a team, it can cause irrational thinking/behaviour to how you would normally react in another situation.

We're a funny breed, us football fans!!

Big game.

They are out of sorts, we're in great form.

I'm venturing down there for the match - I take it you can pay on the gate??

Hopefully a decent Linnets turnout to cheer the boys on
