Gave up on the live stream at half time.

Contented myself with the Radio Norfolk commentary for the second half which was good

Knights Hill car boot heaving with people when I drove past earlier. Social distancing?

I don't think there is any negativity here. The essential point is that EVERYONE  has a responsibility to ensure social distancing
including pub landlords. After the sacrifices of the majority over the past three months no one wants a second lock down and the curtailment of the freedoms we all enjoy!

Hopefully the goalposts wont be moved in the coming season!

Good point Nemesis. Idea Number two: Award each team one point for each of their remaining fixtures. Keep the original idea of then adding the points to next season's totals.

How about rather than expunging this season's results add the points achieved in 2019/2020 to the total for 2020/2021. There is a disparity in the number of games played, so could "Catch up" fixtures from the 2019/2020 be played before then commencement of the new season so each team will have played the same amount of games. There would be no promotion/relegation from this season. Just seems a fair way for all!

General Discussion / Re: Bradford PA at home

Good highlights. Looking at this it didn't look too bad!!. The biggest disappointments for me on Tuesday evening were:
1. The lack of impact made by the substitutes.
2. The lack of discipline at the end of the game.

Bradford P.A. played well and actually looked fitter than Lynn!

There is a lack of consistency in all the Conference North teams this season. If we win on Saturday and Monday we will be top of the league. If Altrincham do us a favour against York it will be sooner!

Reasonable paper "The Mail" although I find the print comes off on your backside ! Izel more use in the present climate because you  get some useful advice re: "Now wash your hands please ".
Better constructive advice rather than the destructive scaremongering in the press!
I also thought the Black tie event was rather expensive  but not unduly worried as all I do is attend the matches and find that is sufficient expenditure!!

General Discussion / Re: Boston

Good result although we have to go and play at Gateshead which will be a tough game. I believe they are a full time team. The Kidderminister and Chester management teams both talked about how they had four or five sessions to prepare for beating Lynn. I predict Lynn or York to win the league but with Gateshead a distinct possibility to win the play offs!
Our double over Boston and beating York have been significant achievements but challenges lay ahead.
Can we do it?
Yes we can!
COME ON YOU LINNETS!  :scarf:
