Always amazes me that everything is wrong when we lose but everything is fine (assume it is as nobody talks about it) when we win......

General Discussion / Re: Linnets bounce back« on: August 21, 2024, 11:48:13 AM »Home win for the Linnets. No Lynn News report? Link is usually up within seconds of it being online...... Rushall were an awful team to watch (not surprising when the manager is who it is) many of who should be playing Rugby rather than football. Ref was clueless - clear dive for their penalty, their captain (number 6) very lucky to stay on the pitch and just the refs general performance was poor. We did what we needed to and, especially in the 2nd half, dug it and battled well. Good 3 points but just as important it appears Kian Ronan escaped any serious injury. 4

£15 is plenty for the "stadium" you have to watch their "anti-football" at......surprised they get as many as they do!
I was speaking to someone from Alfreton on way out of the ground and he said he only goes a few times a season as he doesn't enjoy their style of football. They also have a branch of Nottingham Forest supporters there. (Their way of playing gets results though, no sour gates as we were awful on Saturday) 6

You could argue that someone who was on trial, never played a competitive game or signed a contract is not actually an ex-Linnet??

Surely if you were that worried about the "spirit of co-operation" you wouldn't have posted it in the first place.
Hope Mr XXXX doesn't get in trouble for passing the information on? 10

Some strange ways of saying a new sponsor (3rd announced this summer) is positive on here!
Thought as Lynn “fans” you’d be pleased about the good news. Maybe just me then?? 14

Good to see another new sponsor at the club. Look forward to trying the dessert.
